Story
*We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, October 24 or Saturday, October 31. Private adoption appointments for individual animals will be available to pre-approved applicants from October 19 through November 1.*
Meet Gizmo! This total sweetheart is a lovable little Velcro dog who would happily spend his days right by your side. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and older children and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. Gizmo walks well on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore. His enthusiasm sometimes gets the best of him, and he may jump up when he’s especially excited to see you, but he’s working on his manners and making great progress.
Gizmo is still working on potty training and isn’t particularly fond of the kennel, so he’ll need a patient family willing to continue helping him learn and settle into a routine. If you’re looking for an affectionate companion who takes his job as your little shadow very seriously, Gizmo may be your guy!
Gizmo is an 8-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $900 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Gizmo is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
