Story
Rocket came from a Shelter scared, shaking, and not in a good place, but we could already see the sweet soul underneath. Rocket is a young dog, and from experience we know that little terriers are not only adorable but have some of the best personalities.
Rocket has since had a dental, been neutered, and is fully vaccinated—he’s now healthy and ready for adoption. We are looking for a specific home for him: a calm, loving household with at least one other small dog, so he can play, gain confidence, and truly blossom into the happy dog he’s meant to be.
A note from his foster Mom:
"I'm a petite lil dude with a big heart looking for true love. I'm the real deal and this time around I'm looking for a real lifelong commitment. I'm still very young so make sure you are in it for the long haul. I thought I landed that in the past but was left high and dry so if you're just here looking to play games, keep swiping. I like to take things slow when meeting new people. I'm a bit of an introvert and takes me a bit to warm up but when I do you will realize you hit the jackpot!! I can't have my own children (some guy in a white jacket did something to me to prevent that). As far as living in a home with a pre-made family with little one's is just not for me. You see, I LOVE McDonald's and I will bolt out that door faster than a rat up a drainpipe and you can't catch me. I do very well in a crate but would prefer to be snuggeled up next to my new found love. I do require an extremely secure fence because I have been known to "step-out" when given the opportunity. If you are still reading this and have love and patience to give we should meet up for a burger!" Rocket’s adoption fee is $250, and he is worth every little bit of it.
For the safety and well-being of our dogs, we do not adopt to families with young children. If you are a senior, we kindly ask that you consider one of our more mature dogs, as they may be a better match. We also do not adopt out of state, unless you have a second home in Florida.
Our goal is always to place Rocket in the home where he will be happiest, safest, and able to thrive.
