Here's Arnie! Arnie is a two yr. old super lovable, wicked soft and sweet Boxer-mix. Weighing in at approx. 55 lbs., not too tall and not too short. Arnie's ideal new family would be active as he loves walks, hiking and playing fetch. He also enjoys car rides, cuddles, plush and chew toys, and ice cubes. He likes to hide in bed until it warms up or springing out of bed depending on the weather and is ready to play. Arnie has never been around small children and he likes to do Zoomies and could potentially knock into a small child. He also has puppy tendencies - like being mouthy, which his current owner is training him not to be. Arnie gets along with all dogs but would be best as an only dog or living with a non-toy driven female dog, because he is very toy driven. He has not had exposure to cats in his current home. Arnie was recently adopted from a rescue in Springfield, Illinois and he is not a good fit with the older highly toy driven dog in his new home. They are getting in fights over the ball. His family is saddened to rehome Arnie - he's a great boy and deserves a great active family without another high toy driven dog. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
