Story
Rodolfo is a very sweet, affectionate and playful dog that loves attention. He loves to give hugs to people and play outside with other dogs. He is full of energy with a happy-go-lucky personality. He is also very smart and loyal. Rodolfo does not have any health issues and all of vaccines are current. He is also neutered, microchipped, and crate-trained. The ideal home for Rodolfo would be a place where there is lots of room to run and play. He would be also great on a farm as a herding dog.

Story
Meet 3+ year old Kiwi!  FOSTER TO ADOPT Kiwi is a sweet, affectionate bully mix with a playful streak and a heart full of love for her people. Tennis balls are the pinnacle of canine joy as far as she's concerned, and she'll happily fetch one for you (though "drop it" is still under negotiation). When she's not playing, she's nuzzling up close for quality cuddle time. She's adjusting beautifully to indoor life. She's figured out the doggie door for potty breaks, isn't destructive around the house, and enjoys her growing collection of plush toys, chews, and food puzzles. She shares her treasures without fuss and settles nicely in a crate when someone's home. A few things she's still working on: signaling to go out when stuck in a closed room, resisting the urge to attempt a crate escape when left alone, and accepting that snacks left on counters are not, in fact, generous offerings from the universe. Counter surfing is her sport of choice, so kitchen vigilance is a must. Kiwi is a reliable alert barker, letting you know about doors and footsteps like a small furry doorbell. Out in the world, she's friendly with people and other dogs, loves her car rides, and is wonderful on beach and trail adventures. Emotional regulation is her current growth area. She does well with the resident female dog when humans are around to supervise, but unsupervised time together has led to scuffles. A home where she's the only dog, or one with active management around other dogs, would be the best fit. Kiwi has a raised spine, possibly from an old spinal disc infection that wasn't caught in time. She's cautious about jumping down from beds, couches, or vehicles, and prefers to slide down carefully like a very sensible girl who has read the safety manual. Her everyday mobility is unaffected. If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who's eager to learn new and useful life skills through force-free and positive reinforcement training methods, then she's ready to give you her whole heart.  if you're interested to meet Kiwi,  please help us learn more about you and your household by filling out our online application www.tinyurl.com/AdoptMeNow .. Story
**Demi is looking for a foster home. Apply to foster her here: www.betterworldrescue.org/foster-application** Demi is the Buddha of all dogs. She is calm, grounded, gentle and extremely loving to humans and dogs of all sizes and ages. Demi currently lives with cats but would need further training to co-exist with small animals such as guinea pigs or rabbits. She is housebroken, crate trained, is comfortable navigating all stairs, doesn't bark, doesn't jump up and is not interested in much physical exercise. After all she has been through she has earned the right to lounge. Demi thrives on affection. She will lay her big head in your lap and just lean in and soak up all the attention. She also loves to slump over and lay belly up for a good tummy rub. She is mouth gentle but cherishes her food so should always be fed separate as a precaution. Demi has completed entropion surgery to help with her sight, but she will need a pat of dry eye ointment in each eye two times a day forevermore to continue being the brown eyed beauty she is. She is an angel and just sits patiently while you tend to her. Demi was also suffering chronic, untreated ear infections before coming into rescue care and has been treated with double TECA-bo surgery, which is removal of the ear canals. As a result, Demi is deaf but no longer in pain. Demi truly makes owning a dog easy. She's great for a laidback lifestyle and also for a first time dog owner. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful adoption. If you're interested in Demi, please fill out an application and a volunteer will reach out within one business day. www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
Meet Tank, a short, squishy-faced senior bulldog mix with a heart as big as his adorable blocky head. He’s a low-energy sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up on the couch, taking naps, and soaking up all the affection he can get. Tank adores people—every single one of them—and he does the cutest little tippy tappies when he sees you have treats. He’s also wonderful with kids and would make a loving, gentle companion for a family. Tank prefers not to share his space with large dogs, though he may do well with small dogs after a slow introduction, and he may also be okay with dog-savvy cats. He rides calmly in the car and is about as easygoing as they come. He has been let down more times than any dog should endure. Tank was first placed on the euthanasia list at Manteca Shelter, then adopted, then rehomed, and eventually ended up at Stanislaus Shelter, where he again faced euthanasia. He is currently flourishing in a loving foster home. Through every setback, Tank has remained gentle, loving, and hopeful. He’s ready for a calm, caring home where he can finally enjoy the stability and love he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal couch buddy and a sweet senior who will make your home warmer just by being in it, Tank is ready to meet you. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. Tank is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you would like to meet Tank to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will reach out within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet & greet. If you are interested in fostering Tank, please fill out this application instead: www.betterworldrescue.org/foster-application
