Story
My name is Mr. Morty and I’m ready for a new story! For one ridiculously handsome 7&#226&#128&#145ish year&#226&#128&#145old Bull Terrier, Texas just wasn’t big enough for this personality, so I hitched a ride to Colorado like a snorting little hitchhiker in a bowtie. Somewhere along the way, my skin went so wild that I invented a new medical condition called “Baboon Butt” – no joke, it was a whole look – but my foster humans got me all healed up and glowing again. I do have skin allergies, so I take my fancy allergy pills (Apoquel, thank you very much) to keep me this stunning, and it’s super simple, just part of my daily glow&#226&#128&#145up routine.   I am a funny, funny guy with built&#226&#128&#145in entertainment mode. When it is time to eat, I become a spinning top on the kitchen dance floor, doing my signature “bowl&#226&#128&#145time boogie” until the food appears. CAR RIDES are my other love language: when I see a car, I go bonkers, and if you have a side step, I will happily perform interpretive dance on it before jumping in, then chill out once we’re cruising like the world’s cutest hood ornament.   At home, I’m the kind of dude who actually loves his kennel so much that my foster family just leaves the door open so I can come and go like it’s my private VIP lounge. Doggie doors are fine by me too; I just sometimes forget what they’re for at a new house, so you might have to remind me that it’s not modern art, it’s the bathroom door. I love, love, love walks, and if you own a sled I’m 99% sure I could pull you on it (kidding… mostly) – since I’m a champion puller, a harness works best so I don’t try out for the Iditarod on our first stroll.   Now, about other dogs: I am absolutely obsessed with my humans and sometimes get very jealous if another dog dares to come near my person, so I really do need to be the only dog so I don’t start any accidental drama. Think of me as your slightly clingy, very devoted, egg&#226&#128&#145headed shadow who just wants you all to himself. Because I’m a Bull Terrier, I truly need a family who already knows and loves my breed’s clowny, mischievous, energetic ways and understands that underneath all this muscle and goofiness is a wiggling ball of energy who lives for serious belly rubs and even more serious snuggle sessions.  Put in an application at eapl.com   My adoption fee is $375  January 5, 2026, 10:49 am

Story
Mighty Midnight here is ready to run, jump and bounce on out of the shelter and into life with his new family. Playful and energetic, he is sure to be a fun guy to have around! He's looking for a home where he can go on sniffy walks around the neighborhood before settling down for a long afternoon nap in the sun. Don't let his age fool you, because Midnight still has a contagious excitement for life. We've heard from our volunteers that Midnight is a happy guy, is attentive and will sit politely for treats. So if you're in search of a sweet companion to walk by your side and then lay at your feet while you relax at home watching TV or enjoying a book, come meet Midnight.
