Jesse is a 2.9-year-old Bully mix weighing 66 pounds. She was adopted a year ago and returned when the adopter relocated and was unable to take her. She was so petrified when she came back that she just cowered in the corner and shook constantly. She now has adjusted but she is still very unsure why she is here. She can be timid when she first meets you. She is worth the wait to get to know her. She is a fun, sweet girl. She loves to walk on the leash, she absolutely loves to run and play in the yard. She has so much fun when she runs and gets the zoomies. Then she loves to just lie down and relax in the yard after her playing. She can bring a lot of joy to the right person. She brings joy to the volunteers. She needs an adopter who will take the time to rebuild her trust. We were told that she that she became protective of the family. They said that when she was with the family she was lovable and happy but would become protective when anyone came into the home. They also said she was dog aggressive. The only thing we have witnessed is that she growls at some men, but our male kennel tech and volunteers have no problem with her and are able to walk and be with her. She may need repeat visits to get to know her and take it slow but she is worth the wait. Her adoption donation is $100 which includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Cheez is a 5-year-old Bully mix weighing approximately 30 pounds. He was adopted a year ago and just returned when the owner was moving out of state and was unable to take him. Cheez has had a difficult life. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter shortly before his time was up. He likes his toys, and car rides to McDonalds (he likes chicken nuggets), or he just likes to chill and be a homebody. He walks well on a leash and enjoys his walks, but doesn't need long walks, he's a bit of a couch potato. However, he does have to be the only pet and no children. When he first meets new people, he may bark because he is scared. But if you give him just a little time, he will be a love muffin. He likes belly rubs and likes to give you his paw. His adoption donation is $100 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. This little guy is all puppy! Nitro loves toys, he loves his bullie sticks (pictured😆), he loves to run & play and he loves people! He is super affectionate & sweet! We estimate him to be between 6-12 months old & he is 36 lbs. He came to us with kennel cough from the shelter so he is currently on antibiotics recovering from that. Once he recovers from his kennel cough we will have him neutered. He is reactive towards other dogs on leash & through a kennel so we will be sending him to professional training for 2 weeks of bully bootcamp to nip those behaviors in the bud!
