Story
Cheez is a 5-year-young healthy 30-pound Boxer mix looking for his forever home. While his early life is unknown to us we do know he has had it rough. We got him from a high-kill shelter the day he was to be put down. He was then adopted by a family but sadly, he was returned to us in the same year. His family moved to the west coast and were unable to take him. Personal observations: he seems to prefer short walks and is good with being inside or outside for short periods. He walks well on a leash. He is a great guard dog and alerts to strangers quickly however he is not a noisy dog and seldom barks unless there’s a reason. Cheez likes his toys, lounging on the couch, in his dog house getting treats and belly rubs. He looks at you with his great golden Eyes and you know he loves you he will give you high fives and stand on his back legs to hug you. Cheez is a great loving dog, you won’t be disappointed. Meet and greets with family a must…at home meet greets available. Always keep in mind patience is a must…a new dog given time to adjust will always be a loving and valuable family member. His adoption donation is $100 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is heartworm-negative and on monthly preventative. He finally had a loving home and now he is back with us wondering why. He has been through so much and deserves to be loved and spoiled. Please come and meet him! http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/Project/cheez/ We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information-2/

Story
Jewel is an amazing 5 year old Boxer girl - she even has the happy boxi nubby tail. She has been a family pet her whole life and has great house manners. She is housebroken and polite and has a great medium energy. Her owner went through some personal challenges and a family friend took her in but cannot keep her - she does not get along well with the other dogs in their home. Jewel isn't difficult to walk or manage out and about when she sees other dogs, she just has no idea how to politely greet new dog friends. With continued work on her social skills she has a lot of potential to do really well with dogs in the future. Continued training support will be provided for her at no cost to her new adopter. If you're looking for a spoiled only fur child for your family, this girl is seriously wonderful - pre-trained and so well behaved, full of love and silliness. She has a very typical Boxer playful, happy spirit. Great family pet for a single pet home.  Adoption fee: $150 - Dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines and come with free training support. ##1876503##

Story
Meet Daphne (DaphPunk), she’s is 5 years old and I’ve had her since she was 6months. She’s potty trained. Knows commands sit, chill (lay/down), and paw. Very energetic!! She’s well with dogs her size and larger. Older kids 10+ are fine. But younger I am not quite sure since she likes to stand on her twos paws and hug every chance she gets. She also gets energetic quick. She knows to get out of the kitchen as well. No problems with her chewing up furniture or shoes.
