Meet Tick!This handsome boy is a six-month-old Bull Terrier/Bluetick Coonhound mix, and he is currently looking for his forever home! Tick was originally found as a stray and was raised in a foster home until he was ready to be adopted. This sweet boy does well with other dogs, we do not know how he will do with cats, but we do offer trial adoptions and meet and greets to ensure he finds his pawfect home! Tick is an outgoing and very playful fella, he would do well with kiddos. Tick is not yet house or crate trained, but give him a chance and he will learn! Tick is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, NEUTERED AND UTD ON RABIES, weighs 49 pounds, and is ready to be adopted today!Tick's adoption fee is $115.50 plus tax!Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $60.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Hey Nacho's people, he's still waiting for you! This Bull Terrier Mix is almost 6 years old and has been waiting to find his forever home with HSOC since 2024! Nacho recently got the opportunity to go into a temporary foster home, and WOW did he show up and show out. Nacho has been wonderful for his fosters, much different than his behavior in chaotic shelter life. Nacho has just a few requests for his future adopter or his next foster home — think you can oblige? • Nacho would like to be your only fur-kid. He’s confident he can supply all the kisses, lap time, laughs, and entertainment you’ll ever need. • While he doesn’t necessarily hate all other dogs or cats, Nacho thrives best when he doesn’t feel pressured, so a solo-pet home is ideal. • He’d prefer a more mature household, with no small children, please. After all this time waiting, Nacho is ready to be the one and only baby. These requests help keep Nacho feeling as smooth as Nacho cheese. Nobody wants to see this sweet boy worked up to the point that he gets mouthy or overstimulated; we want to see those cute booty wiggles and soft puppy doe eyes! The tail wags when you pull out a treat are quite extraordinary — that little nub tail goes crazy. Meet Moo! Moo is a 10 year old old Bull Terrier. Moo is an alpha female with an independent streak, so she needs a very confident and experienced owner. She would do best with a strict schedule, loads of exercise and a lot of training to keep her engaged. Moo needs a home without other animals, and not recommended for a home with children. She would take well to consistent training. Moo would also need a home with a fence. Moo is a love bug, just needs that 'person' that can give her what she needs! MOO'S ADOPTION FEE IS $100The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
