This smart boy is a total rockstar when it comes to home manners—he is fully potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and even knows how to use a dog door! He is also an educated gent, having successfully graduated from basic obedience at Smarty Paws and behavioral modification training at Club K9. ​When it comes to his people, Chip is a sweet, affectionate soul. He can be a bit shy and timid at first, but once he warms up to you, he is a velcro dog who loves deeply. He also gets along well with other pups! ​What Chip Needs in his Forever Home ​Chip is a wonderful dog who just needs a specific environment to truly thrive. Because he bonds so strongly to his humans, he has a tendency to become overprotective and resource-guard his chosen person, which has led to some reactive nipping in the past when people get too close. ​⚠️ Chip's Ideal Match: He needs an experienced, confident owner who can provide a structured routine, plenty of mental enrichment, and continued training. He will do best in a home that can maintain firm boundaries to help him understand he doesn't need to "protect" his handler. ​Quick Facts: ​Diet: A bit of a foodie! He loves his Open Farm Raw Mix (Beef & Fish). ​Skills: Knows his basic commands and is great on a leash. ​Quirks: Needs separate, structured feeding and high-value treat boundaries, as he can be protective of his food. ​If you are a dog-savvy handler looking for a loyal, smart, and affectionate companion to continue guiding through life, Chip might just be your perfect match!

Story
Chip, aka Chippy, is a 2 yr old Bull Terrier & Cocker Spaniel mix who weighs around 30 lbs. He is very shy with new people but if shown love and treats, he warms up and will immediately give you his belly for rubs. He loves to romp around with other dogs and his favorite thing to do is find the squeaky in a new toy. He is also very highly trained, having completed a 10 week program at Club K9 and level 1 basic obedience at Smarty Paws. Chippy had a rough start to life being brought in to the Animal Foundation at just 7 months old by a good samaritan who found him and his brother abandoned on the streets. He requires a very structured home and an experienced owner that will reinforce his training and continue building his confidence along with daily enrichment.

This young girl was rescued from a high kill shelter.. she is fun loving and adventurous loves to go for walks and chase her ball in the backyard. She loves all people however she has dog selective she seems to be OK with smaller male Chihuahuas or Jack Russell does not like female dogs or larger dogs would be best as an only dog we did a DNA on this girl and she’s half bullterrier half Yorkshire terrier very beautiful dog and absolutely loves all people if you’re the type of person who only likes one dog in your home Claire would be perfect 702-321-0730 no apartments please she does need a yard completely housebroken
