Hi, I’m Liberty Belle, but my friends call me Belle! I’m an enthusiastic, athletic, and curious puppy who loves learning, exploring, and being part of the action. I’m good with dogs, cats, and kids. I currently live with other dogs of different sizes and two cats, and I do well with everyone. I also LOVE meeting new people and am friendly and excited to make new friends. I’m making great progress with my puppy manners! I ring the bells on the door when I need to go outside to potty, keep my crate clean overnight, and sit nicely when I’m asking for treats. I’m eager to please my humans and pay close attention to them, which makes learning new things pretty exciting for me. I love going for leash walks and am always ready for an adventure, whether we’re heading out for a car ride or simply exploring the backyard. I’m still figuring out how to keep my long legs from getting tangled in my car seatbelt, but I’m working on it! Toys are one of my favorite things — especially anything that squeaks. I also love playing in the kiddy pool, splashing my paws, fishing toys out of the water, and carrying them around the yard. When I get excited, I love to zoom around in big, fast circles. I’m a strong, muscular girl with some seriously impressive jumping skills, and I still enjoy a little backyard parkour — bouncing around the yard, jumping on things, and finding creative ways to turn everyday objects into an obstacle course. After all that activity, I’m happy to settle in too. I love lounging in circle-shaped dog beds and relaxing near my people, especially stretched out by their feet on the couch. I’m also very attentive and take cues from my humans. If another dog barks at something outside, I often look to my foster dad first to see how he reacts. I like to taste-test treats before fully committing, but cream cheese was a definite winner when it came time to take my monthly flea, tick, and heartworm pill.
