Story
“Meet Happy! 🐾 My dog’s name is Happy. He was born on July 8th, 2025, and I got him from a family friend when he was just two months old. He’s a joyful, playful pup who loves to have fun. I’m a mom of three young children, and with my busy schedule, I’m unfortunately unable to give him the time and care he deserves. I’m looking for a loving home where he can get the attention and happiness he needs.”

Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.Super sweet male pitbull about a year oldMessage Jetta.elliott@att.net. Scout is the absolute sweetest boy ever. A little Chihuahua bossed him around with Jo push back. Seriously he’s a sweetheart. He is not aggressive towards other dogs, Katz or anything else, And yes, he is bullied by a little Chihuahua. Absolute love bug. Attached like glue. Never leaves the yard where he lives (no fence). This guy is looking for children to play with. The rescue says he absolutely loves children and a home with children would be the best home for him. But he’s with a lady now and he definitely wants to be her full-time companion… So that would work too. He is about a year old. Currently located in Harrison, Arkansas, but would be brought to you via the rescue network transport. This guy is an absolute gem.April 7, 2026, 1:14 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Callie! I’m around 2 yrs old and 40 pounds! I am spayed and up to date with vetting! I am pretty hyper and love to play with my foster siblings. I am a little weary of new people and dogs but with the proper introduction, I love them quickly! I like all dogs of all sizes (my foster siblings are all 50+ pounds but I hold my own 💪) I get really excited and want to chase cats so my ideal home wouldn’t have those. I really like to be around my family; I have a lot of love to give and will cuddle on the couch with you anytime 🥰 I am a quick learner and have a few tricks up my sleeves. I haven’t had any accidents in the crate and still working on potty training but I’ve only had a few accidents! I need someone who is going to be patient with me as I am learning and growing. Fun fact: part of my left side jaw has been removed due to an accident (that’s how my foster found me). Its completely healed and doesn’t affect me in any way! Story
Upon finding this beautiful pitbull mix, I named her Kissy-Face because she has a beautiful face. Not to mention she has a beautiful demeanor, very friendly and, love other animals and, is trained to the max. I found her roaming for about 2 weeks on Amherst & Princeton Drive in Dayton. The reason I cannot adopt her is I have 2 dogs & a cat and, I already feel overwhelmed. I want this dog to have a wonderful life because, she's full of life. I have asked the residents where I found her if she's someone's dog and, all have said NO. I cannot stress enough how well trained & well behave she is. This is truly a dream dog who needs a good family to adopt her.

Story
Bullseye is an amazing companion with such brilliant intelligence! He's mastered commands like "sit" and "wait" effortlessly. To keep him healthy and happy, it's important to stick to flea prevention because of his allergy. And just like the iconic “Target” dog, he’s irresistibly adorable!ADOPTION FEE: LOCAL $100 NON-LOCAL $140All dogs receive at least 1 distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccine. If possible a heartworm test will be done and if negative the dog will be started on heartworm prevention. All animals receive a flea and parasite prevention/treatment and will be microchipped. All animals can go home the same day as adoption. We will need your photo ID and you will sign some documents. Adopters will also receive a copy of the animal's medical history to date. We do not do an application process. All adoptions are first come, first serve. We do not offer holds. We do not require in most cases that adopters bring all their families members and dogs for a meet and greet. But we do highly encourage it. We are happy to introduce the new dog to your dog(s) at the shelter. No appointment necessary. We do offer home trials of dogs over 6 months of age for about a week. You will not need to pay the adoption fee (spay neuter deposit) ahead of time, but if you decide to adopt you will need to return to the shelter to complete the paperwork and pay the adoption deposit. If you do not wish to complete the adoption, you can bring the dog back at any time during normal business hours during your home trial period. We do not allow after hours drop off.
