The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. Story
Say hello to Shadow! Shadow is a high energy, active little boy! At three months old, he still only weighs 10 pounds. So likely will be a medium size dog. But within that small body is a lot of energy! He loves to be the one to engage all of his siblings in play, fighting and chasing. He has an opposite, personality, where he will literally lay down on his back and allow you to rub his belly for long periods of time. He is learning to give kisses as opposed to nips as well. Allow shadow to run around the yard, pick up a stick and chew on it, push a water bowl around on the deck, and you will have a happy puppy. Shadow is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Say hello to Michter! Michter was found in a box with his six siblings outside of a shelter. At 3-months-old and weighing 12 pounds, best guess is that Michter may have some boxer in him, but he certainly will not be a large breed dog as an adult. Michter loves running around the yard going up and down the deck steps and generally being active :-) he does come to his foster mom for snuggles and kisses, but quickly wants down to go play again. Michter is a medium sized puppy who loves to run around and play wrestle with his siblings and yet we'll sit down and chew on a bone on his own. He readily asks for attention and will sit on your lap so he can get hugs and kisses. He is learning to go potty outside and is learning that the crate is placed to sleep and rest his head. Michter may have some sad looking puppy dog eyes, but it he is a happy, active and loving little boy. Adopt Michter and you will get a spunky, loving and adorable puppy! Michter is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Say hello to Blanton! Blanton is a 3-month-old, 10lb female puppy who is a beautiful mix of active and loving personality. She is 1 of 7 puppies left in a box at the shelter with no parent information. Because all the puppies each only weigh in the 5-7lb range, it's a best guess that Blanton will be a medium sized adult dog. Blanton loves chewing on a Nylabone, jumping on the raised cot or simply chasing a sibling around. She is active but not hyper. She's learning to go potty outside and that the crate is her place to rest. Adopt Blanton and you will get a super cute, active and loving puppy. Blanton is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
