Sweet Thunder buddy is the best puppy around! Hes a low energy “teenager” puppy(around 8-10 months old) that entertains himself with his bones or toys! He naps a lot on the couch and will sleep with you all night in bed! He is pretty much housebroken and attempts to wake you up when he has to go potty outside! He is very good on a leash, does not react to people, other dogs and only watches the neighborhood deer! He is excellent in the car, sits or lays and will chew on a bone if provided(he goes on a lot of rides with foster mom!) Very happy to meet all the people with a wag and sometimes jumps up but is coaxed down with the word off! He also knows how to sit with a hand signal! He gets along well with the kitties in his foster home! Doesn’t bother them too often but is easily redirected with words when he gets excited about annoying them 😅! He has attended events with other puppies and dogs and does seem to do well with them but may display some possession in the home! He is totally fine in the home as a single dog as he prefers to follow his person around! Thunder is not really a fan of a crate but does go into a very strong enforced crate when left home alone! He does not have accidents in the crate! He does also like when you walk outside with him so he can go potty! He is an all around fabulous dog that needs a bit more confidence and training (which is being worked on in foster care) and would be darn near perfect! Dog sitting and owner never returned. This has been difficult because we are not a pet family. The dog housed in garage, he seems to prefer to be outside. He does not like the basement and will not go down there. He is playful and I little clumsy. He has not shown any aggressive behavior towards any of our guest including children. He has gotten out of the yard a couple times, once he was sitting at bus stop with kids he did not know. When people walk dogs by the fence he runs back and forth barking. I think he is a sweet dog but we can't manage him. We tried to get him in a no kill shelter and was not able to. We have many family events at the home with different people and again no issues
