You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Diego aka Little Dog. I am 1 &1/2 years and should be around 60 pounds. Aren't I a cool looking guy?  I was dumped in my foster mom's neighborhood. That was very scary for me. I don't know why they did that. I am a loving guy. Then the neighbor dogs jumped me. I have been traumatized, but with the right owner/ leader, I can be become a good boy. I need my confidence built up, with a stong leader/alpha person. I will be a work in progress. I'm a pretty happy, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. My foster mom says I'm super silly. I love making her laugh when I play with my squeaky plush toys, and toss them around and catch them like an overgrown cat. I actually have a cat foster sister. She likes to play with me, but I can be clumsy with my feet and sometimes I step on her by accident and she yells at me. My dog and human foster siblings and I love to run in the yard and play tag. Zoomie laps are so much fun! Children 5 and up that understand how to treat a dog are fine. While I definitely want a family that will play with me and take me on adventures, I do like having quiet cuddle time, too. After dinner my foster family usually has some quiet tv time and I'm happy to just hang out with them. At bedtime I sleep in their bedroom on my dog bed, but sometimes they let me up on the big bed and it's just the greatest! Foster mom says I have some things to learn still, whatever 'training' is, but I like to be a good boy and make her happy so I'm picking things up quickly. I don't know why my last family didn't want me anymore and left me on the side of the road, but I sure am glad I found this family to take care of me for now.
