Story
Hi, I’m Jamison! I’m just 2 years old. My favorite things are peanut butter (I’ll do anything for it!) and snuggles. It takes me a minute to warm up to new people but I really am a snuggle bug. Fuzzy blankets are my favorite. I love going on walks and car rides, I like to be with my human at all times! I do best with females. I graduated from a 6 week confidence building class and a 6 week reactivity class but still need some help adjusting to new things and people. Please if interested in adopting Jamison head to our website everydogmattersrescue.com to apply, inquires do not count as an application.

Story
Alpha and Omega are a bonded pair of Boxers! They are actually littermates so that means they have never lived apart. They are absolutely the sweetest dogs! Omega just can't give you enough love! They completely adore each other, sleep together, play together and simply can not live without each other. We will NOT separate bonded pairs. Both are house trained and crate trained. Neither are cat friendly. So a no kitty home is needed. Boxers in general are high energy dogs and these two are no exception. A fenced in yard will give them the room and safety they need to burn off their energy and space to do their doggie wrestling. Alpha was repeatedly attacked by another dog in his home therefore he is very cautious around other dogs. He would do best if his new home doesn't have another dog. Both were around children but not toddlers. They do well with older kids. Our dogs are fully vetted. This includes spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies, microchipped, Heartworm and Lyme tested, worming, flea treatments, Heartworm prevention started and any other medical care needed. Our adoption fee also includes 6-week group obedience class (value $125.) If adopting a puppy under age we cover spay/neuter at 6 months. Adoption for BOTH dogs $300.00 To apply to adopt: Visit our website- www.caninepartnersprograminc.org Click Adoption tab- Read about our adoption process and requirements then complete the adoption application by clicking on the rescues face. Their info will pop up with an application button. Canine Partners Program, giving dogs a second chance at a happy life with our rehabilitation program! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I am a single, young and energetic alpha female, I must have a dog to expend my energy on, or a high energy human. No Couch potatoes!!  Does your dog need to expend energy? Do you?  Two puppies is always good to entertain each other and burn off that high energy but I will be the dominate one. I love my person too and love to give endless kisses and snuggles. Hi, I'm Trixie, a 2-year-old boxer and possible hound mix. Basically, a boxer Heinz 57 kind of girl. I am a smart little girl and I learn fast. I'm eager to please and will love to learn my commands with you-especially if there are treats involved! I am an alpha type of girl however, get along fine with dogs, but I need to learn to play easier and that not all dogs like to wrestle. I love to play all the time, so I could be great friends with your dog. If you don't have a dog, you will NEED to do several walks or jog with me. After my energy is burned off, I love to snuggle! I get along with the cats and even play with them too IF they allow me, I have learned to back off from sharp claws. I just want to play with everyone. I love to run and play and get attention from my people. I am very affectionate! My favorite place is anywhere my people are, snuggling, walking, or yard work. You name it -I'm down to help. I am crate, house, and e fenced trained. I do tend to become nervous around real little 2 footers, (toddlers) but the bigger ones are fun to play with.  If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here:    adoption application   For anyone viewing this on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal you will need to go to our website www.rosesrescue.net to fill out the online adoption application. You can usually find more pictures of the animals there too. **WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. YOU MUST CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING. PLEASE LEAVE US A VOICEMAIL IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REACH US. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.- CCDP STAFF** Hi there. My name is Adrianne. I'm about 4 1/2 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs. My friend Fieara and I were surrendered to the pound in October 2021. Fieara found her family pretty quickly, but I am still searching for the right family to love. For whatever reason, I don't seem to like children when they walk through the kennel and at this time, the pound is looking to place me in a home where I won't live with children. I am a very fun, energetic dog. I LOVE to play! I am all about going for nice, long walks and getting to run around and play with toys in the play yards here at the pound. My best fun is had when I am playing in water!! I LOVE it! I don't care if it's a mud puddle, the hose, a creek, a pool, anything! Although I have a lot of play, I also love to cuddle and give kisses and I can be a super affectionate dog. Despite having lived with another dog, I would likely do best in a home where I can be the only pet. I rarely find another dog that I get along well with and I do not seem to like cats. I would be great for a family that would like a dog that is protective of their home. I was a house dog before coming in to the pound and I do appear to be housebroken. If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $152. We accept cash, check or credit/ debit cards for adoption fees. If you pay using a credit or debit card, a convenience fee of 2.39% will also be applied. If paying by check, you will need 2. One Check will be for the dog license, and one will be for your dog's adoption fee, which includes a parvo/distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, 3 days of panacur de-wormer, spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and a current Ohio dog license. We DO offer foster to adopt. (We will NOT accept cash for foster to adopt). We highly recommend you do a foster to adopt with your new dog if you are not 100% sure your new dog is going to work out in your home. Foster to adopt gives you a couple of weeks with the dog to make sure they are a good fit with your family before your payment is processed and the adoption is finalized. ALL DOGS/PUPPIES WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED unless a health issue prohibits the surgery from being performed. Not all dogs posted for adoption are spayed/ neutered yet. If you're driving a long distance to adopt, please verify that the vetting process has been completed and dog you're interested in adopting is still available for adoption. The above mentioned vetting is all included in your adoption fee. The adoption fee and what is included in the adoption fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Adoptions MUST be done at the pound and in person as there is paperwork to fill out and an adoption contract that must be signed by the adopter. This means you must be willing to travel to our shelter to adopt. If the dog you're interested in adopting has medical conditions or injuries which require medical treatment, we ask that you help with the medical bills, in addition to their adoption fee if possible so we can continue to help the dogs coming in who need additional vet care. We are a county run shelter, therefore we cannot control our intake or the health or behavior of the dogs that come in to our shelter. Although we try our hardest to place all of our adoptable dogs, there are certain circumstances in which any dog in our care could be euthanized at any time and without further notice (IE: sudden untreatable medical condition or injury, temperament or behavioral problems which may not be apparent when the dog first arrives, etc.), therefore all dogs at our shelter should be considered urgent. We try our absolute hardest to never have to euthanize for space and have not had to do so for many years thanks to the ongoing support from the public and high adoption rates. Please remember; the adoption of a more highly adoptable dog will mean more time for the less adoptable dog in the kennel next to him! Shelter hours are Monday-Friday: 8 am- 4 pm. Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 8 am - 12 pm. Adoptions are always welcome any day of the week/ weekend and on holidays. We are here everyday to care for the dogs and the best way to make our day is to see our dogs go to loving families. There is nobody in the office on Saturday, Sunday or holidays, so therefore, we are unable to answer or return phone calls over the weekend. We are only staffed to take care of the dogs and do adoptions over the weekends/ on holidays. Can't adopt a dog? We would love to have more volunteers who are able to spend time with our dogs! The dogs LOVE going for walks and the socialization and exercise helps make the dogs more adoptable.
