Story
Age: 4 years (Born September 2020) Breed: Purebred Boxer Rehoming Fee: $200 to ensure she goes to a good home Location: New Wilmington, PA Delta is a beautiful, affectionate Boxer who's looking for her next loving home. She was purchased from a reputable breeder in 2020 and has been part of our family ever since. Due to life changes - including a busy household with three young children and another dog and grandparents - we've made the difficult decision to find Delta a calmer environment where she can thrive and get the attention she deserves. She is amazing with children of all ages. She can be skittish at first to new adults, but well-tempered and gentle. She is house trained and up to date on all vaccines. She has been maintained on simpirica trio for flea and tick prevention. She does well with other dogs. 1 incident where she reacted poorly over the last 4 years, never bitten owners or children.

Story
Meet Bagel. Bagel is a husky/boxer mix (mostly boxer) and is approximately 2 yrs old.  She is spayed and up to date on shots.  Bagel would do best in a calm home with no kids or older kids that listen and respect animals.  She does great with my 3 kids (ages 16, 13, and 9) but does not like when my boys play rough.  When I took her in I was told she hated men but I have been working with her and she absolutely loves my husband now.  I was told her previous owners had an aggressive man in the house and I’m guessing that’s where her dislike for men came from.  However, I feel she is much better now and given a safe environment men are no longer an issue.  She just needs to know she is safe.  She is crate trained.  Bagel is also house trained but does have little accidents when she’s excited so I just try to take her out every 10-15 minutes when she is super excited.  She is an absolute love bug.  She loves to cuddle up under the blankets and gets tucked in every night.  She goes in her crate and I tell her to lay down and then I cover her up and a lot of the times she will lay her head down before the crate is even closed.  Bagel also LOVES toys, and I mean loves!  She will literally get 20-25 toys out with 20 minutes, and no, sadly she does not put them away lol.   Overall she is a very calm girl.   She jumps very minimal and usually only when you are playing and getting her wound up.  She definitely does have the boxer “boxing” trait.  She will absolutely use her paws (I find it super cute).  She has never been in the house with cats but we do have lots of barn cats and she doesn’t mind them unless they are eating her food and then she will bark at them. I have not had her with my dogs as my dogs are not other dogs friendly.  Although I was told that she gets along with other dogs and I think she would be fine with other dog friendly dogs (but not tested to be clear).  She had a lot of fear when I first took her in and she does still need some extra lovins to learn that she is safe and I think she will be the absolute perfect dog. She has a wonderful personality and a very sweet demeanor.   She was dog tested and did great, she'd love a friend to play with and show her the ropes! You can apply at www.ldrofohio.org Our adoption process starts with our application. Once the application is approved, a member of Legacy will contact you to set up a home visit. The home visit usually last 1-1.5 hours and is to make sure our dog and any current dogs/cats are getting along, as well as both of us agreeing it's a fit. At this time the adoption fee is due, and begins the 2 week trial. We will check in during the 2 week trial. If it's not working, our dog is returned to the foster home and all except $100.00 {$75 if Senior} of the adoption fee is returned. At the end of the 2 week trial, you decide if you will finalize the adoption - if finalized, the Adoption Contract is signed and all medical records are turned over to you. If at any time you need to rehome the dog it contractually needs to be returned to Legacy Dog Rescue.  ADOPTION FEE's: Puppies under 6 months:  $199.00 Adults:  $150.00 Seniors (over 7 yrs):  $99.00  If you are interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application:  https://form.jotform.com/193425528783165

Story
Meet Alpha and Omega, the dynamic duo of the dog world! AKA- Al & Meg! These Boxer littermates have never spent a day apart, and trust us, they plan to keep it that way. These two are the sweetest canine comrades you'll ever meet. Omega is the kind of dog who believes that too much love is never enough! They are inseparable - they sleep in synchronized positions, play like there's no tomorrow, and have a bond tighter than your skinny jeans after Thanksgiving dinner. Breaking them up? Not a chance! House trained? Check. Crate trained? You bet. Cat lovers? Not even a little. So, if you've got a feline friend, Alpha and Omega will politely swipe left. Like most Boxers, these two are high-energy dynamos. Think of them as furry little athletes who need a fenced yard to safely practice their wrestling moves and burn off their zoomies. Alpha's got a bit of a past - he was on the receiving end of some not-so-friendly dog encounters, so he's a bit wary of other dogs. His ideal home is one where he and Omega can be the stars of the show, sans other canine co-stars. They're great with kids, but only the older ones who can handle their playful Boxer antics. Ready to double your doggy delight with this bonded pair? Alpha and Omega are waiting to bring a whole lot of love and laughter into your life!
