Story
Cupcake is a 2 year old 55 lb spayed female Bull Terrier mix. She came from San Antonio, TX kill shelter after being hit by a car and nobody reclaimed her! So our Texas Team pulled from the shelter and sent Cupcake to us after fostering her for quite a while! This is Foster's description of Cupcake's behavior: She is very playful with all dogs, small and big! High energy! House and crate trained! Unfortunately her right eye was severely injured when she was hit by the car before ending up in the kill shelter. But despite that she loved people and playing with other dogs. One veterinarian said her eye was damaged but would heal. When she arrived to our rescue in Pa, our Veterinarian had to inspect her eye, and said it was much worse and non visual and he removed the eye surgically. She doing great and healing well. Still a happy girl! She is fully vaccinated and microchipped and tested heartworm negative. She really needs a loving home with a fenced in yard hopefully because she likes to run or an owner that likes to run! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Cupcake please text me Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org ##2601020##

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Mei is the kind of dog who bounces into your day with pure joy and a big smile that makes everything feel lighter. She is a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a playful spark, the perfect mix of medium-high energy when the toys come out and soft cuddles when she’s ready to settle in. She is a natural comedian. Mei gives full body hugs, showers you with kisses and chases her toys with so much enthusiasm that she sometimes tosses them for herself. At about 2 years old and 45 pounds, she is a charming mystery mix with perky ears, a chocolate and tan coat and a stocky little frame that only adds to her character. She might have a hint of Doberman, maybe some Australian Kelpie and some Pit Bull Terrier. Mei already knows how to sit for a treat and she learns quickly. She is doing well with housetraining when kept on a routine and she trots happily into her crate for a treat, settling after a little whine. She loves to zoom around the yard and will play fetch for as long as you want. If you love watching a dog light up with pure joy, she is your girl. Mei does have food allergies and needs to stay on a hydrolyzed protein prescription diet. When she arrived she had no fur and was miserable, but with proper care she has blossomed into a shiny, happy pup. She will need to stay on her special diet to keep feeling her best. She gets along well with friendly, submissive dogs, seems neutral with cats and enjoys every person she meets. She rides well in the car and would benefit from a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy her zoomies. After a tough start in life, Mei is more than ready for the fairy tale ending she deserves. If you think you might be her match, reach out to us for more information.    Interested in adopting? All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. December 6, 2025, 8:00 pm
