Story
This beautiful 3-year-old pit mix is a smaller-sized girl with a calm, gentle personality. She is house-trained, well-mannered, and understands multiple commands. She is very affectionate and enjoys snuggling, relaxing near her people, and being part of the household. She has a quiet temperament and rarely barks. Like most dogs, she enjoys occasional bursts of playful energy but is generally calm and easygoing. She has visited dog parks and has done well around other dogs without any issues. Her previous foster home included cats, and she reportedly got along well with them. She would likely thrive in a home with more space, ideally with a yard, where she can continue to settle in and enjoy a stable routine. She will come with all of her supplies to help make her transition smooth.

Story
Meet Finnegan Finnegan is a smart, playful dog with a big heart for his people. With those he knows and trusts, he is affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. He loves playing with toys and interactive time with his family. One of his favorite things is working on a Kong stuffed with frozen peanut butter, which keeps him happily busy for a while. Finnegan is very intelligent, knows basic commands, and listens well when playtime is over. Finnegan is a high-energy dog who would thrive in an active home that can give him plenty of exercise and structure. He would do best as the only dog in the home and would likely thrive somewhere with a secure yard where he can run and play. This has been a very difficult decision for our family because we truly love him and want the best for him. We are also happy to provide videos of Finnegan in everyday life so potential adopters can get a feel for his personality.

Story
ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED BY DEDICATED SUPPORTERS Meet RockyDude — a 4-year-old, 80-pound bundle of charm who’s been waiting far too long to find his forever family. RockyDude came to Faithful Friends Animal Society in August 2024 after an incredible team of rescuers worked together to bring him to safety. Our friends at ACCT Philly were overwhelmed with dogs, but they knew RockyDude was special and fought to give him a second chance. He was even held past his “timestamp” until he could safely make the trip to Delaware — just as the state lifted the ban on out-of-state transports. Talk about perfect timing! Since arriving, RockyDude has been a staff favorite. He’s smart, affectionate, and full of playful energy. He’s great with both dogs and cats. He knows “sit” and “down,” and he’ll happily trade his toys for treats. He’s obsessed with tennis balls and squeaky toys — they’re his absolute favorites! While he’s grateful to be safe, RockyDude’s biggest wish is to finally go home. He’s been waiting since August '24, hoping the family who’s meant for him will walk through our doors and make his happily ever after come true. Could that be you? Come meet RockyDude and see why everyone who meets him falls in love.  March 7, 2026, 9:03 am

Story
Otis is a sweet, loving, silly, and stubborn English Bull Terrier. He is goofy - loves to lay on his back and wiggle around. He is super chill - one good walk a day keeps him happy, and he'll mostly lounge around the rest of the day. Otis awas found as a stray 10 years ago, when he was estimated to be around 3 years old.  He's been a very loved faimly member ever since. Otis is pretty mellow for the most part, with bursts of energy (aka zoomies) that will make you forget he's 13 years old! Otis enjoys lounging around on his dog bed or the couch. In warmer weather, he'll enjoy lounging outside and sunbathing all day. He loves one walk a day - ideally at his pace, which can involve side adventures to plug his head into a bush for minutes at a time. An ideal home for Otis would be adults only, with no children (including visiting children) and no other pets. Otis can be reactive with other animals, so he must be an only pet. Any exposure to other animals should be avoided or strictly on leash with careful management by a person experienced with handling a strong dog.  He is typically very sweet and calm with adults.  Children can over stimulate him.  The goal is to maintain safety at all times.  For that reason, he needs a child-free home. Otis is house-trained and only has occassional accidents due to his age, but he is very good at using a pee-pad in a designated place when that happens. He is very good on leash for his walks. Otis does have seasonal arthritis, but it is well-managed with a daily anti-inflammatory. Otis (English Bull Terrier, ~13 yrs, 55 lbs) is a sweet, loving, mellow senior who’s happiest with one good walk a day and then lounging the rest of the time. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and in good health. Otis needs a very specific, safety-focused setup: an adult-only home with no small children (including visiting) and no other pets, and someone comfortable managing a strong dog with clear boundaries.  The perfect home for Otia would also need to have experince with his brred.  This senior gentleman will be an excellent addition to the right family.   To learn more about Otis and request an application please reach out to Vivienne by email at  vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  March 12, 2026, 6:44 pm

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation FREE if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Mei is the kind of dog who bounces into your day with pure joy and a big smile that makes everything feel lighter. She is a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a playful spark, the perfect mix of medium-high energy when the toys come out and soft cuddles when she’s ready to settle in. She is a natural comedian. Mei gives full body hugs, showers you with kisses and chases her toys with so much enthusiasm that she sometimes tosses them for herself. At about 2 years old and 45 pounds, she is a charming mystery mix with perky ears, a chocolate and tan coat and a stocky little frame that only adds to her character. She might have a hint of Doberman, maybe some Australian Kelpie and some Pit Bull Terrier. Mei already knows how to sit for a treat and she learns quickly. She is doing well with housetraining when kept on a routine and she trots happily into her crate for a treat, settling after a little whine. She loves to zoom around the yard and will play fetch for as long as you want. If you love watching a dog light up with pure joy, she is your girl. Mei does have food allergies and needs to stay on a hydrolyzed protein prescription diet. When she arrived she had no fur and was miserable, but with proper care she has blossomed into a shiny, happy pup. She will need to stay on her special diet to keep feeling her best. She gets along well with friendly, submissive dogs, seems neutral with cats and enjoys every person she meets. She rides well in the car and would benefit from a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy her zoomies. After a tough start in life, Mei is more than ready for the fairy tale ending she deserves. If you think you might be her match, reach out to us for more information.      Interested in adopting?
