I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! Meet Spanky!  You'll never meet a fella so peppy and full of life. Spanky is a stinkin' cute guy, he is a Bull Terrier mix, which you can see in his sweet round face. We estimate him to have been born in late 2018, but this guy is still full of youth. He came to us originally as a stray, and he was wearing a collar that was so tight it made his breathing hoarse. Despite the discomfort he was in, Spanky is incredibly friendly and loves almost everyone he's met since! He is so outgoing, and gets thrilled when someone gives him love. Spanky has been working on basic commands in his time with us, and is currently learning 'sit' and some better leash manners. Like most pups, he loves a good treat, but the real way to his heart is through toys! If you want to get specific, squeaky toys rock his world. Spanky could keep himself entertained for hours and hours with a good squeaker. He is a tough chewer, though, so we recomend more durable ones like rubber toys. Spanky will make a great addition to the right home, and his perfect family would love to play with him all day long. Spanky is gentle enough to be good with kids too. He is best suited to be an only pet. Spanky is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. He weighs roughly 60lbs. Interested in this cute guy? Her favorite sleeping spot is the back of the couch on a squishy blanket. Chloe is a 6-8 year old mixed breed dog. She’s about 50 lbs with squatty legs. Chloe is mostly a couch potato . When she gets the zoomies… watch out. . She tends to run over anything in her way. Chloe is up to date and spayed. She does have some allergies. She takes daily medication to help. She’s a white dog who loves to roll in the grass … it’s really cute when she does it.No kennel needed. She REALLY is not a fan of them. Chloe has some hip issues so no long walks or hiking needed. . She’s taking some preventatives to help  Her forever home would be best with older kids, smaller calmer dogs ok, no idea on cats?!? Give her a bone to chew and she’s happy!!More things I’ve learned about Chloe….  She doesn’t need a kennel… she needs bones to chew on and she’s so content all day while I’m working... She HATES storms and thunder and lightening…. She curled up next to me over night while the crazy rolled through... She loves chasing balls… but never really gets them... She is learning about routines and is eating so much better! She has a favorite soft and squishy blanket... She loves to nap on the back of the couch like a cat … a large playful cat... She loves to be outside but really loves to inside. Lays in front of the fan... She snores… not does she snoreShe would be perfect for a family that doesn’t need a crazy active dog. She has some hip issues that cause her to limp a bit. When she runs around, she gets sore (ps… so do I.. us older gals). Another dog would be good for her… she plays and uses her voice quite a bit. Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am almost 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too!
