Meet Zuri!Zuri came into the shelter March 10th. Her owner was moving and could not take her. Even though we have only had her a couple of weeks, we have really learned a lot about this happy girl. Zuri loves playing with her new buddy Gremlin, he is about two times smaller than her but that doesn’t matter, they make quite to pair! She gets so excited when meeting new people, she has never met a stranger. She has a lot of energy so it is recommended her new family is willing and ready to play. She enjoys walks, she is very manageable on a leash and is also potty trained!We have found that she listens to sit but can’t hold it for long, she gets too excited, some basic obedience training will be needed but she is so eager to please and such a good listener it should be fun. She loves to play tug of war and enjoys a rope toy.Our staff say that their favorite characteristics are that she always looks like she is smiling, and she is always looking for attention and finding out ways to please you. “She looks like a goof and is a goof”!
