Hermes' favorite place to be is outside. He loves it! He enjoys running and chase, chewing and digging. He also will run away if given the chance in search of more fun things to do. He weighs 42 pounds and is very active and playful. He is afraid of baths. He enjoys leading while on a leash because he gets excited. He is working on house training and spent his days either outside, crated, or in a room. When he needs to go out he'll whine or bark. He has been at the shelter long enough now that he has probably forgotten his previous training so he'll need a refresher course. He is easygoing, friendly, and playful with other dogs but may be picky about his canine companions. You will need to bring your dog to meet him. He is friendly and playful with teenagers but has no experience with children. He loves being petted. He came from a home with too many animals and there wasn't enough room for him. Please offer Hermes the home and family he needs. He has a bigger than life personality and promises to make your life more fun and exciting. He got along well with his foster's dogs and loves chase and wrestling. He has no desire to be the alpha dog. Aquamarine is a loyal, lovable, and active dog. She wants to move and play play play all day,  until her human gives her some pets and she settles right in for cuddles. Aqua loves water, playing in her little pool, and loves to learn new tricks and games. She's very smart and picks up new routines, enrichment games, and activities quickly; however, this comes with being strong willed and sassy. She's quite insistant when she knows what she wants, and would do great with equally active and headstrong people.  This girl is looking to be your only pet and take up all of your attention :). She does well on a leash and can be walked around other dogs, so park trails, neighborhood paths, and stores are okay for her, if you're looking for an adventure buddy. Aqua also does wonderfully in a home and will stick to her toys to get her chewing out. She is potty and crate trained, and enjoys a crate or a cuddly, soft bed as a cool down spot. Miss Aqua definitely prefers the heat and likes to be inside in the winter. Her fosters find that some pit-jamas or a sweater helps with this, but she still would prefer to spend 90% of her time inside.  Please apply to adopt this beautiful baby girl. Description Roo is a young white and tan female bull terrier mix with a medium build. She is well socialized and gets along great with everyone. Personality Roo is a very loving dog that gets along great with her foster home’s other 3 larger dogs. She loves to cuddle. She is full of energy and loves to run. She is doing fantastic with behavior, is crate trained, house trained and does well on leash. She is learning to fetch and will sit on command. A smart, cuddly, happy girl. Background Roo was found in September near Louetta Rd and Forrest Lodge Dr in north west Houston (Heatherwood Village Entrance). She willingly and happily got into her finder’s car. She was not chipped and had no collar when found. Has been fostered by her finder for many months as they attempted to locate a possible owner. She was listed on multiple lost /found pet social media pages and websites, but there were no responses. She was in good shape and overweight when found. Meet 3 year old, Riley! What can we say that captures this unique boy? He is silly, playful and confident. Riley loves fetch (but is not a star athlete)! He also loves trips to Lazy Dog Cafe with burgers on occasion. Riley is looking for a seasoned family to join that knows what they want from a dog. He has all of his basic training down after attending a board and train program. His trainer said if he didn't have 4 dogs of his own, he would've adopted Riley on the spot. Riley needs someone that is committed to keeping up his training. His family should match his confidence and discipline for routine. In turn they'll be rewarded with a family member that is unique and loving. This guy bonds for life!
