Story
Meet Carl! Born November 7, 2025, Carl and his littermates came to WAG at only a few days old. Carl's littermates have all found homes, and now he's in a foster home waiting for his turn for a forever home. Carl is a polite puppy and is learning a lot in his foster home. He is mostly potty trained, and is great at sitting by the door to let people know when he needs to go out. He is working on basic training and some leash skills. Carl is a great mix of wanting to be with his people, but he is also able to spend some time apart without showing signs of anxiety. WAG puppies require a visibly fenced yard, people who are home most hours and can provide consistent training, no children under the age of five, and no cats or dogs over the age of eight. WAG has provided all age-appropriate vaccinations, and Carl is scheduled to be neutered on June 25. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) June 15, 2026, 12:05 pm

Story
Meet Max! This German shepherd mix was born in 2022 and has already had a little too much life experience. His previous owners allowed him to roam, which resulted in him going after a neighbor's chickens and getting shot. He has recovered well from his surgeries, but he is now required to find a home outside of Clallam County. Max's ideal home will have great fencing and no farm animals. He does well with his father that came to WAG with him, but we have not seen him interact with other dogs or cats. Max is friendly with people, but due to his size, might be best for kids at least 8 years old. Story
Meet Skippy! Skippy arrived at WAG after being dumped in a crate outside our gate in an act of desperation. He was terrified, but after being given time to adjust, he is able to show us his true personality. Skippy is a husky/boxer mix and was born in December 2021. He has done well with some similarly sized dogs at WAG after proper introductions, but would not do well in a home with cats (due to a husky's high prey drive), or small children (due to his large size and enthusiastic playing style). He has previously lived with children, so may be okay with older kids in the home. Skippy does take a little time to get used to new people. He would not be a good dog to take to a dog park. Skippy does require a fenced yard to keep him from wandering. He would do best as part of an active family that can help him continue to work on his training and socialization.
