Story
Meet Carl! Born November 7, 2025, Carl and his littermates came to WAG at only a few days old. Carl's littermates have all found homes, and now he's in a foster home waiting for his turn for a forever home. Carl is a polite puppy and is learning a lot in his foster home. He is mostly potty trained, and is great at sitting by the door to let people know when he needs to go out. He is working on basic training and some leash skills. Carl is a great mix of wanting to be with his people, but he is also able to spend some time apart without showing signs of anxiety. WAG puppies require a visibly fenced yard, people who are home most hours and can provide consistent training, no children under the age of five, and no cats or dogs over the age of eight. WAG has provided all age-appropriate vaccinations, but it will be the responsibility of the adopter to neuter Carl at the age recommended by their veterinarian. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) April 10, 2026, 2:37 pm

Story
About ZumaYou may have heard the background story on Zuma. Some months back, he was one of several dogs rescued from a suspected dogfighting ring. At that time, they were very underweight and had other health issues. At the shelter, they received medical treatment and were given a healthy diet. They have gained weight and are now healthy. They underwent a behavior assessment, and all received passing grades. Zuma is a friendly, energetic, and playful pup with a good-looking tan coat. It is now time for Zuma to learn what it is like to live in a loving home. He needs a home with no kids under 10 and no other male dogs. Please call the shelter at (360) 678-8901 if you have questions about Zuma.Zuma is available for foster!Zuma needs a break from shelter life, and we’re looking for a responsible foster to lift his spirits. We’re seeking a quiet home, preferably without animals, but we may consider a household with a spayed female with current vaccinations. Fosters can provide one-on-one enrichment, which is not possible in a shelter environment. Fosters can make a huge impact by relieving shelter stress. If you are interested in making a difference by becoming a foster for Zuma, please contact us by email here or by calling (360) 678-8901.ConsiderationsNo kids under 12No other male dogsNo small animals
