About Rebel Rebel came to us after being rescued from a suspected dog-fighting ring. Amazingly, he has learned to trust people again! He is a very sweet and cuddly pit mix who has a stubborn side. He loves to climb into your lap for cuddles. Rebel appears to enjoy playing with other dogs but will require a home with no cats and no children under the age of 12. Rebel is a friendly, energetic, and playful pup at two years old. His short, easy-care coat is black with white on his chest and belly. It is now time for Rebel to learn what it is like to live in a loving home. Considerations No kids under 12 No other male dogs

About Zuma You may have heard the background story on Zuma. Some months back, he was one of several dogs rescued from a suspected dogfighting ring. At that time, they were very underweight and had other health issues. At the shelter they received medical treatment and were given a healthy diet. They have gained weight and are now healthy. They went through behavior assessment, and all were given passing grades. Zuma is a friendly, energetic, and playful pup with a good-looking tan coat. He is believed to be about a year old. It is now time for Zuma to learn what it is like to live in a loving home. He needs a home with no kids under 10 years of age and with no other male dogs. Story
About Mars A one-year-old Pitbull terrier, Mars, is a super happy-go-lucky dog; no matter the weather or the person who takes him out, he is always wagging his tail! He loves spending time with people, and he doesn’t let anything dampen his mood! Mars has lots of energy. Because of this, he is looking for a home with no children under the age of 10, and we recommend having a fenced-in yard. As much as Mars loves people, he has let us know that he would prefer to be the only pet in the home. He wants all the attention for himself, and we think he deserves it!
