Story
Meet Kobe! He was rescued from the side of the road by his foster, and he is just the sweetest boy! His foster family has been caring for him for about a year, but never intended to keep him forever. They have 5 kids ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old and they play with him and lay with him and he is always sweet and gentle with them. He’s never shown aggression to anyone at all. He’s crate trained and house trained, but he will dig under the fence if he doesn’t get enough exercise. He would thrive with more exercise, training and mental stimulation. He’s a very smart dog, but also quite strong so would do well with obedience training. Kobe is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 75 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Hi, I’m Winifred!I’m a rambunctious American pitbull mix about 3 years old and weigh about 50 pounds. I’m currently living with my foster parents and their 4 dogs, getting an opportunity to learn all kinds of new tricks and how to be polite in the house and on the leash. Currently I know how to sit and shake, I am working on learning down and to have good leash manners. I enjoy being in my crate and don’t mind spending time in there to relax. I love to spend time with people, give kisses, get pets, play with my foster fur-siblings, destroy squeaky toys, and chew on bones. When I meet new people I get a little excited and want to jump with happiness but I am working on giving happy wiggles instead. I am also excited and loud when I see other dogs around when on walks, so my foster dad who is a K9 trainer is making sure I learn my manners. I would enjoy the chance to love your family!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Animal Profile: Ginger is a female Pit Bull Terrier that joined us from Southern California with her four puppies. They are now weened and she is ready to find her forever home. Foster Update: Ginger has been in our rescue for almost two years, and has lived her entire life so far without a person to call her own. She would LOVE to find her forever person before the end of 2023. Could that be you? Ginger can be slow to warm up, and when she came to stay with me it took her about 24 hours to have interest in me or my dogs. But once she becomes comfortable she is happy , lives to play fetch and runs like the wind. After exercising, in typical pitty fashion, she is ready to cuddle with you and watch a good movie. Ginger is crate trained, extremely food motivated and eager to learn. If you're looking for a mellow companion that can handle down time at the office with you and come along on your hiking adventures, this is your girl. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard or some space for the two of you to get some practice communicating via the leash.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org  December 8, 2023, 5:50 pm

Story
Application Review Date 12/11/2023 Animal Profile: Opal  is a 5-month-old female Pitbull puppy -  She and her 2 siblings were dumped in the desert in California.  They’ve been at a ‘holding facility’, NOT a shelter, for 3 months. There is no public access, city workers feed and give them water M-F but the dogs are all exposed to the elements . Luckily they are now headed to the PNW and will go  into loving foster homes while waiting to find their forever homes. More details to follow. Foster Update: Opal is the cuddliest girl! She loves to be close to anybody who will have her. She's great with cats and children. She is a bit timid with men but warms up quickly. She is crate trained and potty trained! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from TR our rescue partner in California and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 06/18. This dog is fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.December 8, 2023, 5:50 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Stewie is a 2 year old, 50 lb neutered male boxer pit mix who is super loving and affectionate with people, food and praise motivated, and even tempered. He's active, loves playing with toys, is house and crate trained, and has basic obedience training. He does well on leash with a confident handler. He hasn't lived with other dogs but did well in his temp testing with other dogs -- more info to come as we get to know him.  Foster Update: Stewie’s affection for people of all ages is boundless. He’s learning not to pull quite so hard on the leash. He is very food motivated and loves to eat raspberries right off the cane, washed down with water from the hose! Stewie is house trained, which is a good thing because he could drink an entire lake. He’s a muscular potato and likes to bed down and snooze as much as he likes to break the sound barrier chasing after toys. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued in Texas and transferred to Washington in April 2022. He was adopted as a 5 month old puppy and returned over a year later due to a death in the family. He has not lived with another dog during that time period. He is currently available for adoption or fostering. December 8, 2023, 5:50 pm
