Meet Samson! Samson is a lovable, energetic boy who knows all his basic commands, including sit, down, and stay. He is a great listener & adores attention, especially cuddle time! He thrives with regular exercise and mental enrichment and would do best in a home that enjoys staying active with their dog. Samson has mild leash reactivity around other dogs, which improves with clear guidance and consistent handling. He can be a bit dominant with other male dogs, so those interactions are best managed, but he has a history of getting along well with other dogs and would benefit from continued training and structure. Due to a recent change in our family, we are seeking a home that can give Samson the time, care, and attention he deserves. He currently has an ear infection that will need veterinary care, and we want to be transparent so his future family can help him feel his best. Samson would make a wonderful companion for someone ready to invest time, love, and patience into.

I don’t know where Nia came from. My ex came home with her one day and I really didn’t need another dog but she was so loving and clearly abused by her previous owner so I didn’t want to take her back. We couldn’t find a place to take her so we kept her. I kept her and got rid of him so she’s been with me for the last two years. She’s very sweet but super protective. I think because of where she came from she definitely needs to be the only pet. She is honestly one of the biggest babies I’ve ever met and I wish I could keep her but her and my pitbull aren’t getting along anymore and that’s too much for me to handle on my own. She’s a very very happy dog and loves to cuddle. Spoiled rotten unfortunately so that’s my fault. I would love for her to go to someone that won’t leave her outside all day. Whoever had her before made her an outside dog so she’s not really a fan of being out for very long. House trained and only chews on toys.

Rocko, who has also been known by the cheese-tastic name “Grande Queso Blanco’, is definitely a big old hunk of goodness! He’s an absolute sweetheart of a boy with a heart as big as his smile. He LOVES people and is an easygoing, mellow kind of guy with a big fan club at the shelter. Here’s what one of his friends said:“Rocko was calm and friendly when I handled him. Despite his discomfort, he is always in high spirits. Love him!”Rocko has allergies and needs a foster or adoptive home with a family committed to his care and comfort… and to giving him all the TLC he deserves! He’s on a special diet and daily antihistamines and would do much better in a home environment. Rocko has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. This gentle soul deserves a soft place to land and someone to show him love.
