Betty is a big, beautiful Mastiff with the softest heart. At around 5 years old and 95 pounds, she is a perfect example of a gentle giant. She was found as a stray in Kachina wearing a pink collar, but sadly no one came forward to claim her. Now she is ready to find the loving home she deserves. This sweet girl is potty trained and does well walking on a gentle leader, which is a necessity for her. Betty has a very mellow personality and truly enjoys the simple things in life. She loves affection, especially booty scratches, and takes treats very gently from her humans. Nap time is one of her favorite activities, and she would be happiest lounging by your side. Overall, she would thrive best in a home where she can be the only dog or have very clear boundaries, allowing her to relax and focus on being the loving, people-oriented companion she wants to be. Betty’s experience with kids and cats is currently unknown. If you are looking for an easygoing companion with a heart as big as she is, Betty may be the perfect match for you. Come meet me at High Country Humane, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11 am–5 pm, and closed on Wednesdays.

Hi! My name is Sydney, and I am a big girl looking for my forever home! Please don`t let my barking and jumping scare you, I am a totally different dog when you take me outside. I love to play fetch and I am really good at bringing the ball back, it`s a great way to bond with me and make friends! I have played with dogs before and have a rambunctious personality, I love to zoom around with my friends! If you have a dog at home that you think would get along with me, bring them by so we can be introduced before you take me home, I would love to meet them! If you are interested in meeting me, please ask a staff member for help taking me outside, I am a big girl who is still learning leash manners, and I don`t want to accidentally hurt anyone! I can`t wait to meet you!
