Meet Auri, a 3-year old sweet pup taking on the world one step at a time. This gorgeous Bull Mastiff is a little unsure of her environment, and may startle easy at some new things, but with the help of the amazing volunteers, she is learning to navigate the world outside those kennel walls and is improving every day. Always ready for treats and LOTS of love, this affectionate and cuddly babe is still learning the art of `sit` and may do an adorable hop instead that will melt your heart. Will you open your heart and home to this special girl? She is getting stressed in the loud shelter and would love a peaceful, loving home and a soft place to land. To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!

We adopted Bailey in 2019 from the shelter. He was believed to be about 7 months old at the time. Bailey is loving and good with people. He loves to be loved on and needs attention. He would be a good companion for someone that is willing to make time for him. Bailey will not do well with other pets in the home which is why we have to sadly rehome him. He has periods of time when he does well with our other dogs and then at other times is aggressive towards them. Most the time this has occurred was due to food aggression, we addressed that by making sure food is not around when they are together. However he has become aggressive just because on rare occasion. Bailey also tends to have an issue with his hind leg which will cause him to limp periodically if he doesn’t exercise. Vet recommends light exercise.The person that takes him will need to be committed to taking him on short walks daily. He loves to cuddle and just needs time and attention in a single pet home.

Coco beans is a very sweet little girl. She is very playful. She likes to run around and loves chewing on bones. She gets her best rest when she is sleeping in bed with you. She knows how to go potty on a potty pad. However, she will still need some potty training. She is very talkative and protective. And at the same time very friendly. I would recommend some training, I’m not that good at that. I need to rehome her because she is just not a good fit for my lifestyle. The rehoming fee is negotiable. At best I’m just looking for a really good home for her. As for her breed, she is a Frenchy pit mix.

Charlie was born on August 26, 2020. He was given to us as a puppy in November 2020. We love Charlie as he is sweet and loving, however, we cannot keep him any longer as my husband has allergies that have been getting worse. Charlie was a house pet for 2 years but the last year or so he has been outside in his dog house as my husband cant no longer deal with his crippling allergies. We love Charlie and we were waiting for someone we knew to take him so that we could visit him, but we no longer want him to wait. We would want him to find a someone that will love him as much as we do or even more. He is an amazing animal that has so much love to give

I have a Cane Corso and English Mastiff that mated. It was accidental. We chose to keep two of the female puppies and they do not get along. Demona who my husband has nicknamed Taco is very sweet with us. She gets along with her mother and father but she has been in two fights with her sister now. I'm not sure who is starting the fights...it would be better and safer for us to find her a loving home. She's good with kids. Very sweet dog.
