Story
I found this puppy and his siblings behind my work in Stockton. I found his siblings homes but can't seem to find him one😞 He and his siblings were definitely abandoned but not malnourished. Im assuming someone's dog got pregnant accidentally and kept the puppies til the playful stage. He is sweet and quiet. Does need attention and has been hurt before (he and his siblings hid the first days with them and were scared by any fast movements). He's well behaved but definitely still learning (he's a puppy). He is still in potty training but doing well. Does well with other playful animals (cats and dogs). Loves car rides and pup cups! 🧡

These pups are in Sacramento, California too!

Story
Nextdoor Post from Pepperocini`s pups and pjs :) Heeey neighbors I signed up for Front Street Animal Shelter’s Pups & PJs program and WOW—10/10, would immediately rearrange my life again for a slumber party. Allow me to introduce Pepperocini: ~2 years old Professional snuggler Certified kiss distributor Neighborhood explorer Friends-with-literally-everyone energy Pepperocini and I kicked off the day as teleworking government employees (very serious business). He briefly attended Teams meetings, but made it very clear that his core competency is being pet—not circling back or taking things offline . Frankly, a productivity icon. After clocking out, we hit the Del Rio Trail for a long walk, followed by a very important stop at Venus Taproom (formerly Barrio). Pepperocini enjoyed a well-earned pup cup while I had an iced chai that absolutely slapped. Huge shout-out to Venus Taproom for being patient, kind, and fully supportive of our post-work decompression routine. Sharing may or may not have occurred. No regrets. The evening wrapped up with dinner, Bravo TV, and elite-level cuddling—Pepperocini’s specialty. If relaxing were an Olympic sport, this dog would medal. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, walk-loving, cuddle-obsessed best friend who will dramatically improve your life (and your couch time), Pepperocini is your guy. His adoption info is below, and fair warning: meeting him may result in immediate emotional attachment. Available for adoption through Front Street—go fall in love.

Story
Creed was given to us at 10 weeks by a neighbor. It was a family decision to get a dog. Family is comprised of dad, mom, three daughters now ages, 7,10 and 13 with a new 2 month old newborn and a grandparent. Creed recieved some virtual training with a trainer during his first year, we were unable to complete that training due to cost. But he was taught to heel, sit, come, place, and go to his crate. He is playful, loves tug, fetch, run. Girls love him. Occasionally he does chew things that are not his.He loves to be active. I retired and started to travel, my son works and has a newborn. We do not feel we can give him the attention he needs anymore. We feel he needs to work and be busy. With the right home and a bit more training and company, he will thrive. Right now he is getting frustruated. He whines at night before going to sleep. In the morning, hes upset if we dont take him walking and barks. He barks at strangers. We are not doing him justice.
