With a very heavy heart, I have to rehome my amazing girl. I lost my job over a year ago and, despite doing everything I can, I’m no longer able to give her the life she deserves. The drop-down doesn't give an option for a Boerboel. Please note that she is a true South African Boerboel (purebred), a rare breed in the United States—known for loyalty, intelligence, and exceptional companionship. She was imported from a Portuguese breeder in Portugal at three months old. Now, 4 years old, spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines 120 lbs of pure love – big, gorgeous, and healthy. Extremely smart: knows sit, stay, down, come, go, stop, roll over, shake, belly rub on command, and more Calm, gentle, and peaceful in the house – rarely ever in trouble. She takes all commands from you by looking you straight in the eye. Very affectionate; she wants to be wherever you are Great with people and good with larger dogs. Great with humans and children, gentle and protective of her family.

We like big mutts, and we cannot lie! And Shadow is one of our favorites! This sweet boy weighs in at 93 pounds, and his heart makes up most of that. Shadow enjoys a fun romp in the yard, and has a special love for toys. He came to us with painful eyes that required entropion surgery, but that cone did not slow his playful personality. Shadow is a six year old bullmastiff mix. True to his name, he loves to be near his people, but he is not a big fan of cats and would love a feline-free home.All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.Adoption fees: dogs, $250 (unless otherwise noted); cats, $50

Story
Rip is a 1-year-old male Bullmastiff with the biggest heart. He loves a good game of fetch, lives for snuggles, and just wants to be close to his people. His previous family could no longer manage him and planned to take him to the pound, something I simply could not allow. Rip deserves so much more, and I promised him I’d help find it. Rip is currently enrolled in obedience training and is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped at the end of the month; the rehoming fee requested will be used for those medical procedures. He is well-mannered, crate trained, and knows his basic commands: sit, down, stay, and he walks nicely on a leash (especially when treats are involved). Rip would thrive best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. He is loyal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to his people; the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you do. He does require large amounts of exercise; a fenced backyard is a must.
