You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Nicholas! I’m about a year old and I’m a handsome brindle Mastiff boy. I came down from Leech Lake and needed some special attention after an encounter with a porcupine - turns out they don’t like kisses. I’m healing and I’m so happy to be part of my foster family’s pack. I get along with everyone - big dogs, small dogs, rambunctious dogs, and lazy dogs. I’m just an easy going guy who likes to play, but I’m also really good at reading other dogs and I leave them alone if they aren’t in the mood to romp around with me. I love people too. I love when they pet me, scritch my belly, and let me lay my giant head on their lap. I’m learning appropriate ways to greet humans. When I get too excited I sometimes jump. I’m already doing so much better though! Probably because I’m a quick study and I love treats. I’ll just keep on learning! I already know how to sit and happily go into my kennel if you put a treat inside. I sleep nicely in my kennel all night long! I love it when my foster parents throw the ball in the backyard. It’s fun to chase it and sometimes I bring it back! I’m a good boy in the house - I don’t bark much and even though I can reach the counter I do well with leaving stuff alone that isn’t mine. I love walks and am working on not pulling. I love being active and look forward to a nice long nap afterwards. Each time I go in the car I do a little bit better than the time before… I’m awesome like that… always learning!  A forever family who will keep working with me on my manners would be awesome! I am a big guy with a very strong tail - just a heads up - literally, for the little humans - watch your head. I am a gentle giant with a big heart.
