Meet Penny Lane, a gorgeous 82-pound Kangal Shepherd who’s not quite two years old and already a total star in her foster home! Penny Lane is the best of both worlds: she’s house-trained, crate-trained, and well-mannered, but she’s still young enough to keep life exciting with her joyful spirit and funny quirks (like her nightly “zoomies”!). When she’s not showing off her silly side, she’s calm, gentle, and affectionate—a big cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. She currently lives with her foster sister (same breed!) and, after a little training, learned quickly how to be the perfect playmate and friend. She’s great with kids, smart, and incredibly trainable. Penny Lane loves to play in the snow—she’s even tried her paw at ice skating! Her stunning coat does shed, but it’s worth every bit of vacuuming—it’s beautiful, just like her personality. And if you look closely, you’ll notice her eyes: one has a captivating half-blue shimmer that makes her even more one-of-a-kind. Penny would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can frolic safely (and get those zoomies out!) but she's also accustomed to potty breaks and exercise on a leash. She’s got a long, happy life ahead of her and is ready to share it with a loving family who will adore her as much as she’ll adore them. This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 110 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides. Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet!
