Meet Luna! Luna is intelligent, affectionate, and energetic. She paws at a string of jingle bells to let you know it’s time for a potty break so no more accidents in the house! She walks on a leash and knows “sit”. She loves to run and play with other dogs of all sizes and wants nothing more than to be everyone’s best friend. When it’s nap time she will go to her crate but don’t be surprised if she ends up curled up in your lap. Luna would match well with an active person or family that matches her energy and has time to devote to training and mental stimulus. She would do well with another dog playmate or children. Harriet loves every new person or dog she meets! She loves to play & her confidence is growing everyday playing with her new friends. Harriet does great on a leash, keeps her kennel clean & loves her food. She’s a puppy, so potty training is still in progress, but she’s a smart girl and is learning quickly. He found his way to the porch of a kind person who took pity on him and reached out to us for help. Atticus is a darling boy who loves people and other dogs, he also adores toys of any variety! He was very skinny when we got him but he's put on weight and is doing great, all he needs now is a family of his very own!   Approximate Birthdate:  Oct 2022 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Gambino has had a rough start, enduring a life chained up outside and then spending several months in a shelter kennel after his rescue. Thankfully, he has been safe in a foster home for the last few weeks, decompressing and learning what it means to be a cherished pet. Now, all he needs is a patient, loving person who can help his past trauma become a distant memory. Gambino is a truly dedicated lover boy, and his favorite place in the world is right by your side. He’s incredibly clingy because he views his person as the most important thing in the world, making him a naturally protective companion. He has a history of making friends easily with women and is simply looking for a confident, patient handler who can help him feel secure and show him the world is safe. He’s food and praise motivated, knows his basic commands, and he loves all the scratches, especially on his neck! He’s also a big fan of toys and chews—rope toys, squeakers, balls, chew bones, you name it, he likes it! Gambino is the total package when it comes to house manners. He is perfectly potty-trained and a star student in his kennel, heading to his crate easily with just a little help from a tasty frozen Kong. He’s a dream on the leash and responds perfectly to "sit" and "no." He would probably prefer a secure fenced-in yard where he can relax and enjoy his time outdoors, without the restriction of a leash. This guy thrives on routine and clear boundaries. Due to his history as a watchdog, he would likely thrive as the solo pet in the home. He's working hard on being a little more gentle with accepting treats (he still gets a little chomp-happy!) but shows great improvement with every new skill he learns. Gambino's ideal home is one where his person is ready for a shadow and a snuggle machine! He is a sweetheart who is just beginning to learn how wonderful life can be.
