Contact foster parent at gary.brode@yahoo.com?? Meet Big, Sweet Girl Pearl ???? Age: 1 year?? Weight: 95 pounds ?? Pearl is amazingly gentle. Her puppy energy is sweet but she has plenty of it. She loves you so much that she doesn’t want you to leave so she follows everywhere.??? Food note: Fast eater. If you have another dog, definitely need to separate the food bowls because she will eat both meals. Kids: Has not been around children since we started fostering so I don’t know how she would do. Although I would assume she’d be great with any child. Very friendly with all people. Has not met a person she doesn’t like and everyone she meets seems to love her. Plays so well with our 20lb frenchie despite nearly an 80lb size difference. House trained for the most part. Had a few accidents early but not so much now that she’s settled in. Still curious and likes to chew on things but is so gentle that she rarely destroys anything. We have been Crate training her and she’s been warming up to that as well. Give it a few more weeks and I think she will be going in on her own. For now, a treat will get her in there. Needs more leash training. She’s not a tugger but she will walk in front of you if you the leash is too long. Doesn’t know any commands yet but she’s young. Plenty of time to learn.

Bina is a 10 month old Boerboel/Rottweiler mix. She will need someone EXPERIENCED in the MASTIFF breeds. She will need CONTINUED socialization and training throughout her life. She is not meant to be an outside dog just thrown in a backyard and forgotten about. Mastiffs need to be near their people. This is a GUARDIAN breed. She will be territorial and protective of her property and family. If you do not know how to manage these behaviors she is NOT for you. Bina is very sweet. She is a BIG girl and will continue to grow. No children under 12 due to her size and strength. She is dog friendly with proper introduction. Unsure about cats, but I’d say no.
