Jr is a sweet dog who is very protective of his humans. He’s a big boy who will need a strong human to keep him in line. He’s loves to run and play so he would do better in a home that has lots of room to run. He love his treats and will get into things if he is given the chance. He thinks everything is his. He would do well as an only dog as he’s has only know the dogs he’s grown up with. He does resource guard towards other animals and that’s why I feel he would do better in a home as an only pet. He loves to snuggle and gives hugs. I unfortunately have health issues that will prevent me from keeping him. I’m getting weaker and I can’t control him.

We got Ace from a family friend. He grew up in our apartment, around our cats and 3 kids. He does enjoy chasing the stray cats but was fine with the cats he was raised with. Ace is energetic, loves to bury things in dirt and doesn't bark to much. He'll want an active ho.e where he can have a good space to run around in.

This sweet girl is Xena! When you first meet her, you’ll realize that she’s two things: gorgeous, number one of course,then you’ll realize how gentle she is. Xena is not the smallest girl in the bunch, however, she is the most calm and laid-back—almost to the point where you will forget she’s there. You can often find her and her doggie bed or on the couch. Those are her happy places. well, anywhere she can lay down is really a happy place for her. If you can’t find her in those two places, you can most likely find her outside sunbathing while her friends romp around in the grass. Life with her is simple and sweet— just as it should be! We believe she is around 5 years old! With rescue this is just a guess. However, one thing that we can promise? Lots of love and snuggles in your future. Xena is a gorgeous fawn color with the sweetest droopy puppy dog eyes looking up at you like “are you gonna give me a treat or what?!” She’s a thick girl that’s not running any marathons, but she can promise you that she will be the best snuggle bug in the house. Her Foster’s children love to tuck her in and make her a little burrito in her blankies. She would be the perfect family dog for a family that loves to relax and sit outside having many backyard barbecue nights and morning coffee in the rocking chairs. I could see Xena happily sitting outside with you watching you garden and water the flowers. Xena would really be happy observing anything as long as she gets to lay down. She’s hilarious. But don’t think she’s all naps— Xena enjoys a good trip to the local park where she can watch the kids play and get her exercise in. The best part about going to the park is obviously all the compliments that she receives. “Oh she’s so beautiful!” “What’s her name? She’s gorgeous!” “Xena you are so calm!” Etc. Xena is extremely dog friendly living with four other foster dogs. She gets along well with everyone. she loves to do her own thing at the end of the day. If the other doggies have zoomies, she’ll happily watch them and cheer them on. She greets everyone with a gentle sniff and then she’s on her way to go say hi to the next doggie friend. We think that Xena could fit into really any chill pack because she gets along well with both male and females. Xena’s perfect partner? A chill older pup like herself who enjoys movie nights and couch cuddle puddles. Xena would love a backyard, but one is not required. She is easy as pie on leash and she would love to go on a walk around the apartment complex if that’s what she needed. I could totally see her happily, watching everyone from a balcony taking in the world around her. Her larger size may make her more of a candidate for a house with the backyard, especially because she’s not built for lots of exercise. Lol. Within 3 seconds of meeting or seeing Rosie Posey, you are required by law to comment on her rolls and jiggle. Rosie’s whole personality is “easygoing bestie.” She’s friendly, affectionate, and has that calm, happy-to-be-here energy that makes her feel like an instant family dog. Her favorite hobby is belly rubs. Her second favorite hobby is holding down the couch while reminding you that belly rubs exist. She happily rolls right over at the first sign of pets and soaks up attention like it’s sunshine. She’s estimated to be around 2.5 years old, and while rescue life means we can’t promise a breed… Rosie sure looks like a mastiff mix (and she wears it beautifully). She met new dog friends calmly, and while she’s more of a companionship girl than a full-time playmate, she did treat us to the cutest, speed-limit-abiding zoomies (heavy on the adorable, light on the chaos). She gravitated to the relaxed dogs over the high-energy, wrestling types but simply was friendly and respectful. Rosie was also introduced to Miller, almost 5 years old, when she stopped by for a visit and she did wonderfully! She was immediately all wiggles of love, rolling over and gently asking for pets like a pro. She’s got a big dog presence and can be a little enthusiastic with her affection, but she’s not out here launching herself onto people, more like schoooching in real close despite her size but she is very polite with her body. With Cats, Rosie did well meeting our house cat. She was respectfully curious and if possibly joining a home with a cat we will set her up for a sleepover with our Kitty Commitee to confirm that same good manners over an extended time in a home setting.
