Story
Despite the old saying, sometimes good things do come in BIG packages! That’s certainly the case with Method Man, as this gorgeous guy tops the scale at 112 lbs. If you’d prefer to play in the yard, MM would be happy to oblige, as he’s a pretty laid back guy. But as long as you let him carry a stick, he’ll trot by your side when you go for walks. (Perhaps he thinks the stick is a cool accessory, meant to impress other dogs?) When it’s hot outside, Method loves nothing better than a nice nap on a cool floor, but he prefers to snuggle with a blanket when the weather turns cold. This adorably wrinkled guy is very smart and already knows his commands, and his motto should be ”will work for hot dogs!” Since his owner had to surrender him due to housing issues, Method Man has been very anxious to find his forever home. He prefers to share a home with just his human companions, and will make a wonderful addition to the right family. MM loves playing with stuffed toys, and will entertain his new family with an occasional case of the zoomies. If you decide to share your life and your home with this lovely pup, you’ll be rewarded with loving looks from his very soulful eyes. Adoption by appointment only withan approved application. Story
Meet Baxter, WORKING DOG UNDERSTANDS SOME COMMANDS IN GERMAN ! NEEDS A HERO WHO WILL GIVE HIM THE ENRICHMENT HE NEEDS AND CRAVES! THIS IS ONE WHO WILL BE KILLED FIRST BECAUSE HE LOVES ADVENTURES! He is a very intelligent dog, knows some commands in German, learns fast and is very BORED in his kennel with a high energy level. When outside of his kennel, he is a lot better, especially after blowing off some steam.took him out one on one due to his behavioral concerns. He will attack the leash as he loves tug of war. Each time he bit the leash I sprayed pet corrector. He is very smart and quickly learned and left the leash alone which allowed me to leash him and get him outside. He pulls quite hard but is super food motivated and knows basic commands in German. He is very sweet and playful. He was overarroused in the yard but was still attentive to me and listened to all corrections given. He did attempt to escape the yard, but has pent up energy from being on stray hold. I took him on a walk on the path and he was much better. He was better on leash, visibly more relaxed, more receptive and attentive. He did attack the stuffed dog in the volunteer room but was playing with it like a toy not attacking it like another animal. He went back into his kennel without an issue. He's a high energy, more than likely working dog, who needs enrichment to prevent him from going kennel crazy He had good greetings but was more interested in the yard than the other dogs. He explored and used the restroom, mostly keeping to himself. He was sexually motivated but is still intact and was receptive to correction. He really is a good boy but needs that confident person ! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Henry, Ford and Ranger are behind in development. It’s more like they are two months old. They were under nourished and basically had minimal human contact.    They have amazing personalities and once they are separated they will housebreak and learn basic manners so quickly.   Henry wears the black collar and is the runt, he is the most curious and, to be honest, he is the smartest. He explores and loves to play with the other two. He is good with people and toys with no aggression. Henry is pretty affectionate and will calm down and sit next to you as long as you're rubbing his ears. He plays well with his brothers and, despite being the runt he really holds his own. He was the first to figure out how to escape a 26-inch tall pen when he was let outside.     Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. **Puppy Adoption Policy: To ensure proper house training and socialization, puppies will only be adopted to homes where an adult will not be away more than an hour per day, per month of age of the puppy, up to 6 months. Proof of sterilization must be provided to Mastiffs To Mutts Rescue as soon as the procedure is completed. He has the cutest bent forward ear and he is quite expressive. Ford is less of a Velcro dog seeking attention when he wants it. He is the first to lie down when the boys go outside to play and requires the least amount of supervision. He is happy to interact with his brothers but he is also very independent and fine on his own. Ford loves belly rubs, his ears scratched and playing tug-of-war. They were under nourished and basically had minimal human contact.    They have amazing personalities and once they are separated they will housebreak and learn basic manners so quickly.   Ranger wears the red collar. He is a velcro dog and craves attention from both his brothers and his humans. He loves his toys, plays well with his brothers and with us. This boy loves to eat and will sit next to you for hours, only leaving to play with his brothers or have a treat. Ranger was a huge hit at his recent visit to Tractor Supply; he was everybody’s favorite - he literally hugged and kissed every single person that got down to his level.  Ranger interacted well with every other dog there, and even a cat.     Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs.
