Hi! My name is Eddie- named after the famous founder of Van Halen. Although my exact breed is unknown, my foster mom thinks I am mostly Australian shepherd with some blue heeler and maybe some husky thrown in (my blue eye and talkative nature hints of husky!). I am a sweet, friendly and loyal pup. I love to snuggle and will sit and stare adoringly at you for hours. I have a moderate energy level. A daily walk and maybe some weekend hikes would be just perfect. I currently live with several doggy foster brothers and sisters and I do just fine with them. But, I would also do fine as an only dog. I have not been around cats in my foster home, so we don't know how I would do. But, I LOVE to chase squirrels, so maybe cats would be a bad idea. I'm a pretty big boy (about 55-60 lb) and am still learning not to jump on people. My size and propensity to jump means that I would probably do best in a home without small/young children. Older (

Woo-oah! Look at that beefcake! Weighing in at 104 lbs, Rex has definitely earned that title. But that doesn't stop this 1-year-old mixed breed from applying for the title of "lap-dog." Rex is a big ball of pure love and joy. He has an adorable, goofy smile that he shows off all the time and knows how to "sit!" Rex has lived with cats, other dogs, and kids and reportedly did well with all of them! He would likely prefer any cats be dog-savvy though, because he considers them playmates as much as any other friends he encounters. Rex does occasionally forget his size and can pull a bit on leash, so his new family should be prepared that he may be excited about a sniff and barrel over to it.
