He was a transfer from a rural shelter after being surrendered by his previous guardian due to personal problems. We know Pedro previously lived with another dog and gets along well with the dogs he's met while in the shelter. Pedro is popular with our staff and has spent some time in staff offices. He's a quiet, companionable office mate who is more interested in napping on the dog bed than getting into your stuff. Come meet this great guy and see if he might be the dog of your dreams! His adoption fee includes his initial set of vaccines, deworming, neuter, microchip, and a certificate for a free physical exam with a participating local veterinarian.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.For weeks this handsome guy sat at the shelter. We shared but no one wanted to take him home. When we say fostering saves lives we really mean it. Potro was getting so close to never leaving the shelter. Kennel stressed and shutting down...and then his hero came! In foster we've learned Potro does well with female dogs and very confident kitties. He also loves all people.  Potro is very strong and needs a bit of work with the leash, he pulls. A harness and some sessions with our behaviorist can fix that! Potro was just neutered and that could easily help with how he feels about other males, time will tell! Our guess is there's a splash of Anatolian Shepherd in them but it's just a guess.  These boys are full of energy and play all day with each other. If they're not adopted together they absolutely need another dog and some kiddos to play with! They are working on house training and sleeping through the night.  Ernie and Bert have only had 1 set of shots and will need 2 more sets before they are fully protected.
