Story
Hi! My name is Heather and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 2 year old, female, American Shorthair who came to SB Humane in hopes to find my new family! I am a bit shy at first, but I love ear rubs and relaxing in my bed. I am quick to purr and I am an expert biscuit maker. My ideal home would be with someone who is willing to show me the love and compassion I deserve. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

Sampson is a wonderful adult cat. Very interactive. Loves to drink water out of a slow drip tub. He is very intelligent. Would prefer to be the only pet in a household but can tolerate other animals. Loves to snuggle and be petted(although not on his rear end!)
