Story
Hi! My name is Heather and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 2 year old, female, American Shorthair who came to SB Humane in hopes to find my new family! I am a bit shy at first, but I love ear rubs and relaxing in my bed. I am quick to purr and I am an expert biscuit maker. My ideal home would be with someone who is willing to show me the love and compassion I deserve. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

Story
Sadie is about 4 years old and was found at a rental property that my parents own. Her owner’s experienced some hardship and unfortunately could not care for her. I took her in and have fallen in love with her. However, she does not get a long with my senior dogs (13 and 15 years old) and has been displaying stressed behaviors. I believe she would do best in a home without dogs. She does do great with other cats though. She has no health problems (I have all of her vet records) and I can take her to the vet to do a check up before she goes to her new forever home. I will send you all of the paperwork that I have had for her 😊

Story
Hey, I'm Plum a cat with a love for the great outdoors. You'll find me hanging out at SPARC Ranch, where I've got room to roam and explore. I'm not your typical house cat - I thrive in a barn setting.I'm independent and self-sufficient, perfect for rural living. Barns are my kingdom. I'm not much of a lap cat, but I'll gladly keep your barn free of any unwanted critters. Mice beware! So, if you're in need of a feline friend to watch over your barn and enjoy the rustic life, I'm your cat. Check me out at SPARC Ranch, where I'm living my best barn life.If interested in meeting me contact SPARC at 805-399-2781

Story
In 2019, I welcomed Mali into my home from the Ventura County Shelter. She arrived with an injured leg, a result of being shot with a bb gun, and had experienced the loss of her kittens. I was drawn to her affectionate nature, and we quickly formed a strong bond. With time, Mali recovered from her injury and blossomed into a happy and healthy cat. Throughout my four moves, she experienced anxiety but adjusted well every time with the proper amount of attention. Mali loves being pet, playing fetch, and cuddling- making her the most remarkable cat I've ever known. Unfortunately, my new living situation doesn't permit me to keep her, and it saddens me deeply to have to find her a new home. She deserves all the love in the world.
