Burmese kittens & cats in Ypsilanti, Michigan

Daubi is already living his second life. He was found in the grass as a home owner was cutting his lawn and almost ran him over. He was dehydrated but soaking in water from the rain. He had scabs on his head and nose. He's was about a pound underweight. He's recovered and is a beautiful boy now. We took him in and he was in bad shape but purring like a motor during the whole vet visit. He is a LUV BUG BiG TIME. He is recovering from his ordeal very quickly and is now on the mend. Turns out he's a rare breed mix. He's part Burmese and DSH. He has this gorgeous chocolate color and white which makes him a Chocolate Tuxedo. You don't see this color often in cats. He has a VERY long tail as well. He's quite the fellow. Just wants to be with people constantly. So we are looking for a non-smoking home, with his bonded housemate Peep. A person who is gone a forty hour week isn't going to make them happy so someone who is home more often or there are two people or three in the home is fine. He's often happy to just sit on your and purr away for hours. He plays hard with Peep and then expects to snuggle with his person. This cat is a courtesy post. Owner is going through Health issues. * These cats are fixed/ had shots/ fiv felv tested neg / Chipped(just the boy) *They are ok as the only 2 cats, but may consider another fixed girl cat 2-5 years. He is ok with the Pair Jane/Zoom(twins) * Ok with Most Adult/Senior Dogs under 40 lbs that will let the cat make the 1st move. as long as they do not chase him or back at his face. * These Cats are strictly Indoor Only/No Declawing * These Cats are Ok with If you Work 8 - 10hours a Day and does NOT need human 24-7, but does need a human to get loving from and cuddle with for attention time daily. May take a few weeks to settle in. * These Cats are Smart. * These cats Go with Food Vet papers. Will have to check on their carriers (dunno if owner is including carriers). * The boy cat his pretty blue eyes. The girl has green/ yellow, but they may change to yellow/ amber. * These cats may sometimes trip humans when they are cuddling your legs and head rubbing you, but does not intentionally try to trip you, They are truly LOVE BUGS * These cats have been waiting a little over a Year for a Family to call there home.. * These cats are LOW on Shedding. * The boy came from Blue Parents, But His great Grand Mom Had a lynx Gene which he ended up with, Parents were Registered and lineage back was as well. ( I do not have any of his paper work or registry as his ill owner does She is not home so can not go looking for it ). the girl came from Siamese/ american short hair parents. * Meet/Greet will be done in Livonia Michigan * Pre Questionnaire is emailed to anyone interested in adopting This pair.. Athena has been put out by a family when they moved out of a trailer park, with her kittens. Athena was a good mother to the kittens and really she's been trying to get into any trailer she can. She really disliked being outside. She is friendly and a very good companion. We are looking for a safe, loving, non smoking home for her. She'd be fine in a apartment with a view of a green area or woods or a home where someone is home often. We had her in a place where someone wasn't home often and that didn't work for her. She wants to connect to people. She started off inside and she really needs a home where she's indoor only. Fester is ADORABLE. He's a plush coated boy and super sweet. Gorgeous plush boy. He was trapped with his mother who was quite feral so we weren't able to keep him with her. But he came around quickly. And he's playful and sweet and ready to have a loving home of his own. We are looking for a non-smoking home. Wynn was adopted as a kitten and was the third kitty in the household and she never settled in well with the other two. She's a gorgeous, all white kitty with a beautiful, plush, all white coat. She obviously is a kitty who needs to be the only pet in the house. The family tried for a number of years to make it work, but ultimately.....some of us, like some of pets, just don't want to share the spaces we live in. Wynn is affectionate with people, she's sweet and snuggly but definitely needs a household where it's quiet, no children, like in the home she has now, and is just her as the spoiled queen of the house. Her dream is to have a quiet, low key household to be settled in with her pet parent to be very laid back. She'd be great in a house, where there is a mature person or couple and looks of relaxing views to see through the windows. She must be indoor only. She is healthy and up to date on shots and is fixed and vetted completely.
