Story
I’ve had my cat since he was a baby—about a month and a half or two months old. He likes it when I place my foot on his tummy, move it around, and pet him; he also likes sleeping on my feet. They say it’s because he grew up with me and thinks I’m his mom. As far as I know, he only understands Spanish because that’s the only language I speak to him at home, though maybe he should understand English—I really don't know.

Story
This is Chowder, and this is his story. He wasn't always mine. He belonged to a good friend of mine, but my friend had to move back to China for good and couldn't take him along. I couldn't stand the thought of him being left behind with nowhere to go, so I took him in myself. That was about two months ago, and he's been living with me ever since. He's a gentle soul, and honestly a little shy at first. When he doesn't know you yet, he'll tuck himself into a quiet corner and watch from a safe distance. But if you're patient and give him time, he softens — he'll come out, he'll play, and he'll start trusting you. And when he's hungry, he always knows exactly who to come find. That's when you can tell he's decided you're his person. I wish I could keep him. The hard truth is that after he came to live with me, I developed an allergy to him — bad enough that it started affecting my breathing, and my doctor put me on an inhaler for it. I've tried to make it work, but it's a health pr

Story
I've had Milkshake since he was a kitten. He was adopted with a littermate who died about a year ago. He loves having his belly rubbed. A couple of years ago, Milkshake started having pee and poop "accidents" on chairs especially. The last six months it's gotten worse. I'm at my wits end. I have every possible surface covered and he will just go on the plastic. The vet says everything is fine. I have three litterboxes for Milkshake and my other cat and it's still happening. He seems normal otherwise. It usually happens when I've been gone for most of the day. When I come home, he'll have an "accident" a few hours later. He's a lovely boy but I just don't know what to do with him anymore.
