Story
Dad was found with his girlfriend and two kittens in an unsafe area by S IH-35. He got along well with his girlfriend and kittens, but they were scooped up and found homes. Dad was fixed and put back on the streets before anyone noticed how friendly he was! A nice human stepped in and noticed his health was deteriorating outside and had no constant source of food or water. He was taken inside to focus on his health. Turns out, he LOVES being around people! Dad thinks toys are ok but prefers getting pets and sitting next to a loving human or snuggling at night! Although Dad tested positive for FIV (weakened immune system), FIV cats tend to have normal life spans when cared for and the majority never experience complications. FIV is only transmitted to other cats through blood transfusions and serious penetrating bite wounds. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or other animals. Dad would be the healthiest as an indoor cat but a bonus to have access to an enclosed outdoor space.

Story
Percy is 5 months (born September 2). He's a very sweet, loving, and affectionate boy. He's playful (climbing & parkour apparently lol), fairly verbal. Loves to cuddle & be with his brother. I would prefer to keep them together, but he'd be okay with his person or with a friend!

Story
This is Nezuko. She is a beautiful and playful cat but has some health issues that we cannot afford anymore due to my incoming newborn. We got her from a farm with her sister. Nezuko has anxiety issues. It breaks my heart to have to re-home her. She is FIV positive which has caused some urinary problems that we cannot pay for anymore. She is currently on antibiotics to treat it and a prescription urinary tract diet. She is a very loving cat and always cuddles me when I'm sick or feeling blue. She deserves someone to love her and give her a good life.

Story
Cake is a sleepy cat that enjoys sleeping in bed and lounging around. She’ll walk up and ask for pets and then go about her day. She would make an excellent companion cat. She likes golden retrievers but no other breed of dog and she’s a bit feisty with other cats but will put up with them if she needs to. She loves food so we keep her on a special diet. She meows when you come home and loves ear scratches but only for as long as she’ll allow it. She will nip at you once she’s had enough. Cake is almost 5 years old. I’m hoping to find her a better home so we may grow ours.

Story
Pallas is sweet and loving. I adopted her about 3 years ago, but I’m renting and my landlord won’t allow a pet. She’s great with my mom’s two smaller dogs and cat - we lived in the home with them for two years and she loved hanging out with the dogs! She likes to be held and will cuddle up with you on the sofa. She’s vocal and likes to have chats, which makes her great company for a single person. She’s well behaved, litter trained and not a scratcher.

Story
Storm and Rogue are a brother/sister pair originally adopted together at 6 weeks. They have always lived together and with larger dogs. Rogue (male) is affectionate and sweet, while his sister Storm is well, a bit of a "storm". I've recently had the last of my adult children move out and am finding it difficult to get home early enough to spend time with them.

Story
This poor guy was abandoned by his family. They moved and just put him out on the street to fend for himself. The homeless people in the area began abusing him. A good Samaritan worried for his safety contacted us. He has been vetted and this sweet guy just can't catch a break. He is under 2 years old and is neutered, but is positive for FIV. (equivalent to HIV in humans). He can go on to live many years and lead a normal life with good nutrition and a low stress environment. Due to the virus it is recommended that he be in a home with no other cats, unless they too are infected. He is such a sweet boy. If you have a soft spot in your heart for needy and forgotten felines, please think about giving this gentle guy a loving home.

I don’t want to rehome Leo but because I have little siblings that don’t know personal boundaries and mess with Leo too much which in return causes him to act aggressive and hurt them I have to let him go.

Story
Found cat hanging out in our backyard for about a week. She has a pink collar. We were able to get her to come to us and checked for microchip which none was found and no one has claimed her otherwise. We are under the assumption she was abandoned. Overall she is friendly and enjoys pets and attention. She will allow you to pick her up and seems like she was adjust well to other animals/kids. She has been kept in a kennel in our garage to shelter from weather and uses a litter box fine. Unknown on her shots and if she is spayed.

Story
Max is a sweetheart who is happiest snuggling in a lap or snoozing under a bed. He loves pets and attention. He has lived his whole life with another cat, so with time I'm sure he'd adjust to living with a new cat. He hasn't been around a dog since he came to live with us at 10 wks old. I think he'd do fine with a mellow dog. Max spent the first 4 wks of his life living outside with a feral mom, so his fight or flight instincts are very present but it's ALWAYS flight. He has never been at all aggressive. He runs away when people come into the house but will return if it's a person he's comfortable with. I do think a noisier/busier home would be too stressful for him. When my kids and grandkids come over as a bigger group, he stays hidden away until they leave. He will come out for quieter guests that come around often. He has never had any litter box issues and his front claws have been removed. I want to find him a home with someone who will love him like we do. (DOB 4/9/19)

Good with cats,
Story
I currently have been taking care of a cat that was stuck between a wall, malnourished and have gotten him back to a stable health journey for the past months. I was told that it was a female but recently discovered a few weeks ago myself that it was a male. I was just going to take him in for a few weeks and try to foster him out, but that turned into months as I'm sure a lot of other people do with animals. I believe he is around 1 year old and since I found him as a stray, he hasn't had any kind of vaccinations as I haven't gone to take him. I have another male cat (4 years) and it just really isn't working out having both of them. It would be better for both of them if I was to foster this cat (I call him Skunk) out.
