Basil is the cutest little kitty! She’s sweet, very vocal and loves other cats. She loves to play and, when sleepy, loves to lay next to her Mama. She’s a bit of a princess who needs lots of attention so she’d be great in a home with children or active adults. She loves playing in the bathtub and keeping you company while showering :) She also loves to climb! Basil is litter box trained and eats both wet and dry food.

Story
Shana is a very nice girl who is extremely anxious, with worsening urination problems. She has been anxious since I adopted her from another home 5-6 years ago. A few years ago, she started urinating on my bed while I was at work. Then the urinating progressed to any absorbent furniture, blankets, etc in my home. I have had to cover my bed in plastic during the daytime whether I’m at home or at work for the past 2 years. I often find that she’s urinated on the plastic covering. Recently though, she’s been urinating on my bed, and on me while I’m in the bed. I’ve been sleeping with plastic over the mattress and now, with a plastic sheet over the bed while I sleep. This weekend, I have stripped the bed and changed sheets three times because she is sneaking under the plastic and urinating on the bed. I’ve had her checked by numerous vets, tried Kitty Prozac, added more litter boxes (there are 5 in the house for 3 cats), compulsively cleaned litter boxes, nothing helps, it’s worsening.
