Lucky is a beautiful, sleek black boy, about one year old, who truly lives up to his name. This sweet kitty wandered up to one of our friend’s homes looking for help, and thankfully she stepped in and brought him to safety.
Lucky has since been neutered, fully vaccinated, and given a clean bill of health. He’s ready to start the next chapter of his life in a loving forever home.
This handsome guy is very sweet and affectionate and truly enjoys being petted. He has a gentle, loving nature that would make him a wonderful companion for just about anyone — whether you’re a first-time cat parent or a seasoned kitty lover.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
