Story
Vogue is a four-year-old, 15-pound terrier mix with a soft white-and-orange coat. This gentle girl is the definition of a companion dog. She lives for affection, happily curling into your lap and soaking up every bit of love you have to give. Vogue’s sweet nature shines through in everything she does, and her quiet devotion makes her an incredibly special soul. Vogue does have some mild neurological differences that give her a unique way of moving, including a slight wobble and an occasional tendency to walk in circles. Most of the time, these traits are subtle and don’t slow her down or dampen her joyful spirit. She also has an old, healed fracture in her back leg that contributes to her distinctive gait, but it causes her no pain. She remains a happy, comfortable girl who enjoys her daily routine and the company of caring people. Her future family should be understanding and open to providing veterinary guidance if ever needed, but most importantly, ready to cherish her just as she is. Vogue is ready to leave the shelter behind and blossom in a loving home where she can feel safe, adored, and at peace. To learn more about Vogue or to meet her, call 602-971-1334 or visit Home Fur Good Animal Rescue Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Story
Mae Bell has been one of my favorite dogs to own. Her personality is like a little persons. She jumps up in your arms on command and knows how to sit and lay down. She also knows how to speak when commanded to.She has a lot of energy and when you’re the owner of her, she makes sure that she is front and center. She would probably do best in a home with adults that love to take her on walks and with a yard. She knows how to use doggie door and is house trained. She’s a beautiful dog and would make a great companion.

Story
Meet Missy! Adoption fee $400 Missy was found injured and brought to county. Due to what they believed were significant injuries she was set to be euthanized. We quickly stepped in and pulled her. We got her to our vet right away. Missy has previous pelvic fractures and part of her hamstring (its made up of four muscles) has been torn and detached. We could do surgery but our vet said the chances of it being successful were very slim. He advised trying physical therapy. Missy had her first appointment and did great. If you are a good fit and decide to adopt Missy we will include a PT session so you can learn what she needs. It's really easy and she is VERY treat motivated. Missy loves her people. Her favorite spot is on your lap or draped across it! She is good with other dogs but can be a bit bossy. She would be fine as an only dog too. Missy walks on a leash and is potty trained. She will bark when she first meets people, especially if her person is with her. She gets over it quickly. She does not like cats so absolutely none in the household. We have worked with her and it is not a fixable issue at this time. Misty is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative. Misty is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs 10 pounds. To meet Misty, please fill out the application https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAWP/Dog
