Story
Gondo is a darling, middle-aged gentleman with the sweetest soul. This Cairn Terrier / Schnauzer mix brings together the very best of both breeds — a perfect blend of charm, intelligence, and steady companionship. Like a true terrier, Gondo has a quiet confidence and a curious, engaged nature, but he’s long past the busy puppy stage. From his Schnauzer side, he gets his affectionate, people-focused personality and easygoing manners. He enjoys being near his humans, happily soaking up pets and companionship, without demanding constant attention. Gondo is the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into daily life — content on walks, relaxed at home, and always ready to offer gentle affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, calm, and loving companion with just the right amount of terrier sparkle, Gondo may be your perfect match. 💛

Story
💔 Meet Xena 💔 This sweet girl has been through so much in her life and is looking for a forever home that will finally last. Xena is about 4 years old, full of energy, and absolutely loves her daily walks — the more the better! She’s spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on all her vaccines (rabies, Bordetella, and her full Parvo series). We originally rescued Xena from a high-kill shelter, where she came in with her two puppies. She was adopted two years ago, but sadly, her adopter recently passed away. Heartbreakingly, this is the second time she’s lost her person. Despite everything, Xena’s spirit shines bright. She gets along with other dogs with the proper introduction and, once she warms up, becomes the sweetest cuddle bug. She’s 100% potty trained, knows how to use a doggie door, and just loves being with her people. Xena is a Alpha dog and would do best as the only dog or her being the only alpha She loves daily walks If you can offer Xena the love, security, and daily walks she deserves, please reach out to us to schedule a meet and greet. Let’s help this beautiful girl finally find her forever home. ❤️🐾 📩 Message us today to meet Xena! Coco Precious fur Baby Rescue

Story
Meet Willow — A Sweet, Sensitive Soul Ready to Bloom Willow is a 1.5-year-old, 10-pound white terrier mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit just waiting to shine. Though timid at first and easily overwhelmed by busy or loud environments, once she feels safe and bonded, she blossoms into a snuggly, affectionate companion who will excitedly jump up for attention and melt into your arms. Her silly and confident side truly comes out when she's with other dogs — she absolutely thrives in the company of playful canine friends. Willow has a strong need to play and would do best in a home with a well-matched, active dog companion and a secure yard where they can run and romp together. She’s dog-door potty trained and enjoys the independence to go outside to play as she pleases. Willow also rides well in the car using a booster seat and walks nicely on leash, especially when she has another dog to follow. Because she can be fearful of children, Willow is best suited for an adult-only home. While she hasn’t lived with cats, we have no reason to believe she wouldn’t do fine with a calm feline friend. Willow will need an adopter who is experienced with nurturing shy or sensitive dogs. Patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement will be essential. A clear post-adoption transition plan tailored to her needs — including time to decompress, daily structure, mental enrichment, and continued socialization — will set her up for success. If you’re ready to earn the trust of a timid pup and watch her blossom into the joyful dog she’s meant to be, Willow may be your perfect match. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. If deemed a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or seek additional information. In the event your application isn't accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. Your application remains active for 90 days, allowing consideration for other dogs in our care. Simply email us if there is another dog you would like your application to be applied to. [Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application) For application forwarding requests or any specific inquiries, you can contact us at adopt@underdogca.com. All our dogs undergo comprehensive vetting, including spaying/neutering, microchipping, DHPP, flea treatment, deworming, and Rabies vaccinations. Additional vet care is provided as needed based on their requirements. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 serving as a non-refundable donation. Story
Looking for a devoted friend who is happy to share the couch with you? Meet Buddy! Buddy is a charming and gentle three-year-old terrier mix, who is ready to give his whole heart to his forever family. While he is initially shy and likes to take things slow, once he warms up, he is incredibly loving and will stick close to his people. Buddy is housetrained and using doggie door like a pro, he is enjoying walks and demonstrating excellent leash manners. This sweet pup is generally a low-key companion, but don't let that fool you—he does get adorable, unexpected bursts of zoomies when he's feeling happy! Buddy currently lives happily with two small dogs, but he prefers to keep his distance from larger canine friends. He would thrive in a calm home where he can feel safe and build confidence at his own pace. Buddy's heart is ready for a patient family who appreciates a sweet, sometimes silly, and always loyal friend. Could you be the one to show him how wonderful forever can be?
