  This is the correct listing for this dog. The other listing (Marigold and Honey) for her is incorrect. Do not use it.     The sisters, Marigold and Honey, are bonded sisters and must stay together. Delightful, very affectionate, lots of fun. DOES NOT LIKE BEING CRATED. Sleeps in the big bed with all the rest of us and gets down if she needs to potty. Loves to play and cuddle with her sister. Marigold is the smart one of the pair. Honey is the clown. She is an escape artist and I have yet to outsmart her and make my yard escape proof for her. Fortunately she does not go anywhere. She just wants to run in the pasture and the bushes to see what the opossums, cats, & raccoons are doing. To my knowledge she has never hurt any of them but she has cornered a couple and I have had to separate them. She loves to bring you presents (usually a scrap of the paper plate from her last treat), even if you are sleeping. She is so proud and happy she will wake you up to give it to you.We do not charge an adoption fee, but do ask a donation to reimburse for our expenses. We are a 501c3 charity, all donations are tax deductible. We are not a brick & mortar shelter. All of our dogs are fostered in private homes. If you would like to help with fostering, please submit an adoption application NOTE:  We do not generally adopt outside of New England Each dog will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (negative,  unless stated otherwise), treated for parasites, and up to date on shots. While we are vigilant to get everyone as healthy as possible before we send them off to start their new lives, it is to be expected that, after the stress of traveling across the country from the midwest,  and going to a new home, they will probably need to be retreated for parasites. We want to stress that your new friend needs to be seen by your veterinarian within the first week of arrival. We absolutely guarantee a happy adoption, or you MUST return the dog and we will undo the contract. If you are not happy, the dog is not happy, and we are not happy.   This is the correct listing for this dog. The other listing for her is incorrect. Do not use it. The sisters, Marigold and Honey, are bonded sisters and must stay together Very sweet girl. Sits up like a prairie dog. Both leg bones in her right front leg were broken when she was a baby and they were not properly splinted. They grew together and her leg joint did not grow properly. She uses this leg but favors it and does not put much weight on it. Does not seem to cause her any discomfort.. Marigold the sane one of the pair. Has history of ear infections  We do not charge an adoption fee, but do ask a donation to reimburse for our expenses. We are a 501c3 charity, all donations are tax deductible. Meet Chloe! Chloe came into our care when her owner`s circumstances changed. She was described as an affectionate dog who enjoyed being around her small circle of people that she was comfortable with. She has limited history meeting dogs, and has appeared worried with them while in our care. She was also observed to resource guard food and non-food items from people in the home, which looked like growling when approached and snapping towards hands if the items were reached for. She is looking for a quiet home with patient adopters who are willing to keep her world small as she settles in and her new family get to know her.
