Story
Meet Dot!  Dot is a sweet 1-year-old “tabbyco” (tabby + calico) with the most adorable orange dot right on her forehead—her little crown. She was rescued from a tough situation in a trailer park where someone was suspected of harming cats, but despite her rocky start, Dot has blossomed into a gentle, loving companion. Dot is a quiet soul who doesn’t ask for much—she’s not demanding, just happy to be near her people. She’s affectionate, soft, and absolutely adores love when it’s offered. The perfect mix of independence and cuddly companion, Dot will happily keep you company while you relax, work, or unwind. If you’re looking for a calm, tender-hearted kitty who will bring quiet joy into your life, Dot is your girl.  Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference. Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using info@straylovefoundation.org, or by clicking the donate button on our: Facebook page Website homepage at www.straylovefoundation.org October 19, 2025, 10:57 pm

Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.Ginger and Pepper are SO sweet and cute. These bonded, senior sisters are looking for a fur-ever home to call their own. They were brought into a vet office by the people who said these girls were feral and since they were moving, they wanted the vet to put them down! NOT FAIR! Turns out they aren't feral at all. Those terrible people just said that so the vet would be more likely to do the deed. Luckily, the vet they went to was where one of our volunteers works. We took them in to find REAL furever homes.  The adoption fee for both girls is $75.00 BOGO. We charge $75 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. But we really want these two to stay together. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2025, 5:53 pm

Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. This is our Misty girl, affectionately referred to as Squawk. She is a chatterbox and will talk as long as you are willing. She is a smokey calico with a sweet disposition. Squawk craves attention and pets but does not like to be picked up. Squawk gets along well with other cats. She is a little shy on first meet but worth the wait while she adjusts. Misty needs new humans because her person was taken by cancer in January, 2025.  She's been loved beyond measure and is looking for another furrever home where she will be equally cherished. Below is a link to see an ordinary conversation with Squawk.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPLrz3sGFvI Squawk's adoption fee is $100.  Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.
