For more information, please contact foster moms: Michelle 256-520-2517 or Brittany 256-975-0768.   INTRODUCING CRUMPET - DOB est 1/24/22, female, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped… Crumpet had been hanging around outside an area school (where she was likely dumped), obviously pregnant and desperate for help. She was trapped and brought into foster at the end of January, and after a timid beginning she warmed up and decided that the indoor life was pretty darn nice. She gave birth to five kittens on February 5th, and has been a wonderful mother to them. Now that her kittens are mostly raised, it's time for her to find her forever home where she can be the baby herself. Crumpet is a little bit of a scaredy cat and can be timid at first. We assume that she's been through a lot in her young life, and it takes her a little while to learn to trust, but she's such a love bug that her need for attention allows her to get past her fear. She loves to be petted - we can not stress this enough, LOVES to be petted! - and will let you pet her for a good long time as she walks back and forth and rubs against you. She has a very sweet purr that she turns on as soon as you start petting her. She will flop down against your leg or near you - she hasn't been a lap cat yet in her foster room, but that very well might change as she grows more comfortable (and doesn't have a passel of kittens to worry about.) She loves to curl up in a basket, on a soft bed, or even in the middle of the floor and just hang out. She's learning to be playful as her kittens get older - she likes to bunny-kick stuffed toys, really likes catnip, and has a favorite toy in the form of a catnip-filled green bean (and yes, that will go home with her, along with a couple of extras.) She has not been around other adult cats in her foster home, but with a slow introduction, she should do fine with other cats. Buddy was adopted from a New Leash on Life in June of 2022. Buddy will be 2 years old in March. He was very shy at first but his big personality came out when he became comfortable. He is super playful and affectionate with people, and he loves to talk. He also likes being picked up and held like a baby. He gets along with our 6 year old cat but has been having a hard time with our 12 year old cat. Due to his energy and playfulness, Buddy would do much better in a home alone where his owner can feather toy or play fetch a toy with him, or in a home with a playful cat or a kitten where he could release his energy. He is a small cat with a lot of love. Buddy is up to date on all his shots (FVRCP and Rabies) and is neutered. He is very healthy and active. We want to extend the offer of pet sitting him if the adopters are local whenever they need!

Bruce is a sweet adult neutered male kitty who loves pets and treats! I am getting married and moving out of state so he is in need of a new home. Bruce is about 6 years old and was adopted as a kitten in 2018 from a local shelter. He is an indoor cat in great health (never been outside) but loves to watch birds out the window. He is playful and very friendly with everyone and gets used to other cats quickly. He loves attention and affection and is really spoiled! He is a large cat so an oversized litterbox is necessary. He comes with a collection of toys, bedding, and a recently new cat carrier.

Millie (Mills) is a sweet adult spayed female kitty who loves pets and treats! I am getting married and moving out of state so she is in need of a new home. Millie was born 4/20/2021 and adopted in 2023 from a local shelter. She is an indoor cat (never been outside) but loves to watch birds out the window and play with other cats. She is playful and full of energy but also loves to hang out with her people friends. Millie loves to play with toys (her mouse toy is her favorite). She has a small cat hernia under her rib cage but it was thoroughly checked by a local veterinarian last year and is benign and does not cause her discomfort or issues. Millie is a sweet cat and a little princess kitty who loves to play! She comes with a collection of toys, bedding, and a recently new cat carrier.
