Story
Annie is an 9-year-old dilute calico who will greet you with a meow and rub your legs when she sees you. She is a social love bug who enjoys purring in your lap, deep-tissue back massages, and neck scratches. This delightful girl will be an easy-going, ever-present companion. We suspect that she may prefer to be an only cat in her golden years, but if you have another mellow senior cat or dog at home, Annie would likely adjust well to that arrangement. She’d also make a wonderful ESA and family pet! Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and her adoption includes a voucher for a free vet exam. Story
Gemma 2 year old female Beautiful muted Calico girl who had all her teeth removed due to a gum disease. This does not affect her health or eating habits at all and definitely hasn’t slowed her down. Gemma was an indoor outdoor cat and she loves to climb. Her foster person takes her for walks where she can climb trees and explore the outdoors then go home and nap with her human. She’s currently in a very safe area with no predators is looking for a similar place to to call home. She’s very content being an only cat and could adjust to indoor life only. Spayed, vaccinated, Microchipped and it’s a very healthy girl. Story
Born in April, Katinka is a gorgeous calico tabby (‘tabico’) who loves to buddy up to other cats. She doesn’t mind some pets and will sometimes get snuggly as you pet her; but she will be the best buddy to your existing cat or a fellow kitten. She must be adopted to a home with a furry friend. She is heart-stoppingly beautiful and loves to laze about in cat beds or a sunny spot- especially with a pal. She will pleasantly play on her own with toys and will have a joyful time playing with other kitties. She would do best in a mellow household with adult cat parents who accept that she is a little quiet and timid with people- though she may truly blossom in her forever home and become more radiant and social than we have seen her in foster care. Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and her adoption includes a voucher for a free vet exam. For adoption info, call Kristin (805) 550-9064 Www.FelineNetwork.org

Story
Fun Dip and 16 of her siblings had their world turned upside down when their owner suddenly passed away. Her and her siblings made their way to North County Paws Cause, where we are giving her all the love in the world while she waits for her new forever home! Fun Dip is a very mellow and low-key kitty who loves sprawling in the sun and minding her own business. She is a little shy, especially when you first meet her. However, she is a sucker for some good butt scratches! She has never been around dogs, so we are unsure how she reacts to them. She gets along great with other kitties, though! Because she gets easily overstimulated, Fun Dip would not do well in a household with young children.

Story
Meet Manta! She is a very shy, sweet girl who is very easily startled. She prefers hiding in dark cubbies, under the couch, or in a hidey hole than being out and about. However, she absolutely LOVES playing with her foster siblings! You can catch her running around in the middle of the night, chasing her fellow kitties around and playing on the cat trees together. She is a sucker for a good butt scratch, and goes crazy for ball-shaped toys! While Manta is "friendly" per say, she is very, very skiddish still. She was fully feral when she came to NCPC, and her foster has been working every day to slowly bring her out of her shell. She is showing some progress, but if you are interested in adopting her before her foster feels like shes confident enough to go into a forever home, NCPC will need to verify that you are willing to provide her a safe space for her to learn to thrive. She will need a home that is calm, understanding, and persistent in helping her realize that she is loved and she is safe. She is not yet spayed, but all cats and kittens adopted through NCPC guarantee that they will be fixed, microchipped, and up to date on their vaccines. Manta currently has a microchip and is up to date on her vaccines. Manta has been exposed to dogs and other cats. She does not enjoy dogs and is rather afraid of them, but she might be more relaxed around an older/calm dog who ignores her fully. She loves other cats though! If you have questions about Manta, please reach out to North County Paws Cause. Or, reach out to her foster Cammy directly via text or call (805)703-9293

Story
Moon Pie and 16 of her siblings had their world turned upside down when their owner suddenly passed away. Her and her siblings made their way to North County Paws Cause, where we are giving her all the love in the world while she waits for her new forever home! Moon Pie is the definition of a love-bug! She enjoys all the attention in the world, and loves playing. Her chaotic and playful side is perfectly balanced by her chill side, though. Get you a girl who can do both! She is FIV positive. What does this mean? It means miss Moon Pie has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. FIV sounds scary at first, but it's really not! FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, and not transmitted through things such as sharing food and water bowls or grooming. As long as she isn't getting into any crazy kitty fights, she is perfectly safe to be around other cats! FIV also isn't transmittible to any other species besides cats, so you don't have to worry about you or any of your other critters in the home catching it. Moon Pie doesn't need any expensive daily medication, or to be treated any differently than a normal kitty. She is just a little more prone to getting sick! Because of that, she will need to be a permanently indoor ONLY kitty. She has never been around dogs, so we are unsure how she reacts to them. She gets along great with other kitties, though!
