Our Adoption Fees are: Kittens (under 12 months): $175.00 Adult Cats: (over 12 months) $150.00Puppies (under 12 months): $250.00Adult Dogs (over 12 months): $225.00PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: A $75 training deposit is applicable to any and all dogs who are expected to be or are currently larger than 25 pounds. This deposit is in addition to standard adoption fees. It’s no surprise precious Casey is a great favorite in the adoption center! Her caretakers report, she is the sweetest girl and loves to play peek-a-boo in boxes and enjoys a variety of simple toys. She has gotten along with other cats and she plays gently and is happy with simple things, it’s surprising that she can run with impressive speed if she’s chasing a rolling jinglebell ball or racing across the room! She’s also “very much a cuddlebug with an affectionate personality and should fit in well in many types of homes”. Magpie is a very young Mom Cat. Magpie and her six new-born kittens were abandoned at a local firehouse.  When the firefighters returned from a call, they found a box of teeny, tiny kittens and a loving Mama Kitty.  The firefighters quickly went into rescue mode and contacted The Cathouse on the Kings.  The kittens and their mom, Magpie, have been thriving in foster care and are now ready to find forever homes.  Magpie has been a very loving and nurturing mom to her six kittens.  As a very young cat herself, she is quite energetic, likes to talk, and is loving and affectionate with her foster humans.  She did fine with young, school-aged children visiting the foster home.  She would do well as an only cat or with another confident cat if given some time to adjust.
