Story
You may remember Lorelai when she first arrived at HB last summer with two newborn kittens. Everyone had been adopted once the kittens were weaned. Unfortunately, due to changes in family circumstances, Lorelai finds herself back at HB. She is already treating us with 'biscuit making', head bumps and lots of purrs. During her prior stay with us, she was good in the cattery with 10 other felines. She's a bit uneasy this time around. We'll keep trying to integrate her until she's comfortable. Indoor Only! Adoption Fee: $75~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org. Story
Ozzy found herself hidden inside of a bush in our backyard sometime in July 2025 and we coaxed her inside and inside shes stayed as we found out she was pregnant and all agreed that when the kittens were weaned that wed find all of them good homes including Ozzy. She is an incredibly affectionate cat to be a stray.. She loves food and treats and to cuddle as long as you are still enough to let her. I have never seen a more affectionate and loving cat. She is a vocal cat and definitely demands attention. We would have kept her, but my Toddler has yet to learn to fully be gentle with animals so I hope Ozzy can find a good and loving home with people that can give her the attention and care she deserves. She has been wormed twice and is due for another worming soon. I do not know how long she had been in the wild so she had quite the worm infestation, but has since been more under control. She could use a good vet check up and most certainly needs to be fixed.

Story
Meet Fraydo 🖤 Fraydo is a fully vetted, handsome little gentleman with the heart of a golden retriever. This sweet boy is a straight-up cuddle bug who absolutely loves burrowing under the blankets — especially if he can snuggle up next to his tiny bestie, Phoebe the Chihuahua. If you’re looking for a cat who thinks he’s part dog, Fraydo is your guy. He proudly carries socks around the house like prized possessions and isn’t shy about showing affection — face kisses included. Yes, he will lovingly lick your face. Personal space? Never heard of it. Fraydo has one hilarious “addiction”… milk. While he has never been intentionally given any, the second he hears milk being poured or spots a cup with even a splash left inside, he comes running at full speed. If you’re not careful, you may end up with a “cup head” cat chasing the last drops. (For the record, cow’s milk isn’t safe for cats and can upset their stomachs — but goat’s milk is a safe, kitty-friendly treat in moderation!) He is wonderful with gentle kiddos and has a sweet, patient temperament. Fraydo would absolutely love to be adopted with one (or both!) of his sisters, or into a home that already has friendly resident cats. He truly thrives with companionship and enjoys having buddies to cuddle and play with. Fraydo is affectionate, playful, and full of personality. He would flourish in a loving home that appreciates a snuggler, a sock thief, and a loyal little shadow who just wants to be wherever you are. If you’re ready for a loving, slightly goofy best friend (or two!), Fraydo is waiting. 🐾

Story
Meet Oswald 🖤🤍 Oswald is a fully vetted tuxedo cutie just over one year old with striking markings and an even bigger personality. This handsome boy is packed with playful energy and absolutely loves toys — wand toys, balls, crinkle mice… if you’ve got it, he’s ready to chase it. Once Oswald has time to settle into a new environment and build trust, he becomes incredibly affectionate — on his own terms. When he’s in the mood for love, he’ll stretch up toward you to be picked up and reward you with the sweetest hugs and kisses. Those moments are extra special because they’re completely genuine and all him. Oswald does have that classic “temperamental tuxedo” streak, so it’s important that his adopter understands cat body language and respects his boundaries. When given space and consistency, he thrives and forms strong bonds with his person. Oswald was sadly returned to us after being adopted in October 2025. The home had young children, and the activity level proved to be too stressful for his sensitive nature. Because of this, Oswald is looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can feel secure and understood. He needs to be the only pet — no other cats or dogs — so he can truly relax and shine. In the right home, Oswald will be a loyal, playful, deeply devoted companion. He just needs someone patient, cat-savvy, and ready to love him exactly as he is. If you’re looking for a spirited, affectionate tuxedo boy to be your one-and-only, Oswald is waiting. 🐾

Story
Molly is a darling little tuxedo girl with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. While she can be a bit shy at first, it doesn’t take long for her curious and fun personality to peek through. Once she feels comfortable, Molly is all about playtime, zoomies, and chasing toys with her favorite feline friends. She especially loves romping around with other friendly cats and gains confidence from having a buddy by her side. Watching her bounce, pounce, and dash across the room during playtime is guaranteed to make you smile. Molly shares a beautiful bond with her sister, Holly, and would truly thrive being adopted together. They comfort each other, play together, and help one another feel brave in new surroundings. Bringing these two sisters home means twice the cuddles, twice the entertainment, and a lifetime of love. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, playful tuxedo girl (or even better — two!), Molly is waiting to meet you. 🖤🤍
