OJ is a cuddle magnet and loves to be right by your side. She’s a goofball that also loves to play tons. I love her so so much and know she’ll be great for any adopting family!

Goose is a talktive, loving cat. We adopted her at 6 momths old in 2009. She has been our only pet since. She is spunky at times and playful. Other times she is a lazy nap cat. She has big eyes and loves to chat. When we adopted her, she came spade and de-clawed in the front. We have two children that have grown up around her and she adores them. So no issue with kids, so long as they are not grabby or aggresive, she is an older cat, so that makes sense. She loves to cuddle on the couch and really loves her tuna. She grazes on kibble in between soft food meals/snacks.

You may remember Lorelai when she first arrived at HB last summer with two newborn kittens. Everyone had been adopted once the kittens were weaned. Unfortunately, due to changes in family circumstances, Lorelai finds herself back at HB. She is already treating us with 'biscuit making', head bumps and lots of purrs. Lorelai has made great progress in the cattery and spends most of her days with the other cats. She demands respect from them and in turn she gives them their space too. Indoor Only! Oscar, a 5-7 year old cat, found himself in our care after being surrendered because his owner was relocating. He was previously living with another cat but would thrive as an only cat, as he craves constant attention. Oscar has had experiences with dogs, cats, and children. Oswald is a tuxedo cutie with striking markings and an even bigger personality. This handsome boy is packed with playful energy and absolutely loves toys — wand toys, balls, crinkle mice… if you’ve got it, he’s ready to chase it. Once Oswald has time to settle into a new environment and build trust, he becomes incredibly affectionate — on his own terms. When he’s in the mood for love, he’ll stretch up toward you to be picked up and reward you with the sweetest hugs and kisses. Those moments are extra special because they’re completely genuine and all initiated by him. Oswald does have that classic “temperamental tuxedo” streak, so it’s important that his adopter understands cat body language and respects his boundaries. The home had young children, and the activity level proved to be too stressful for his sensitive nature.
